"Bill was one of the nicest guys I have ever met, there was a crazy wreck the last night we where there. Bill's boys came and gave us stuff if the power went out, power never went out. Has two nice bedrooms, 1 bath, and the kitchen is a perfect size. Fire pit & grill is out the front door."

"This was our first trip to HMT and we picked Hawks Riverside Lodge based on their vicinity to the Rockhouse trail and the pictures we saw online for the lodge. We couldn't have been happier with our experience. The lodge was clean and well kept and had a beautiful view of the river. Even thought the lodge technically sits on Hwy 80 and there is traffic passing by it is not a distraction at all. Walking out on the porch you simply hear the water flowing down the river and the birds. It's very peaceful. You don't have to bring anything with you other than food because they provide the rest including the charcoal for the grill! If you are going to HMT this is a great place to start and end your day of trail riding."
