"Perfect place to stay for a few days on the trails. Nothing fancy. But everything you need."
"Nice place to stay plenty of space to park. For those with four wheelers and dirt bike you can park under house for security. Plenty of room and house was fairly close to trails. Just be aware that to get to the house you have to ride down beside the train tracks otherwise gps will take you to neighbors house. Luckily he was kind enough to show us the way."
"Nice place to stay when riding the trails. The beds were very comfortable. Fast wifi. Has a hose available to spray off your machines. They should put a sign up to have you turn left immediately after crossing the railroad tracks or you won't find it."
"Great place for the price and is close to the trails, food, and gas. Beds were decent, it was nice to have a full kitchen, two baths, washer, dryer, and an outdoor hose. The larger bathroom was nice. Everything was good our only complaint would be the stove and pans. The burners and pans are warped it was very difficult to cook on we had to prop the pan so eggs wouldn't spill out. The train is loud and runs all night but it also make the area more secluded which was nice. Also a recommendations would be to cut a walk path to the river, it'd be a nice to sit next to the river. All in all we'd stay here again!"
"The Boars Nest is OK.. Only 1 bed that would sleep a couple.. All other beds are single. The bunk beds are Scarey and creaky... The bath attached to the one bedroom off the dining room was really nice. The pots, pans and knives need to be updated.. And need a few more bigger bowls, and cookie sheets.. There were noises in the walls... Not sure what kinds of critters were in there?? The train tracks were only line 30 yards from the bedroom window, so good luck sleeping.. Trains run allll night and blow their whistle.. Counted 16 the one night from 11pm to 8am... There was no "inside" parking as described. Nice to have a full kitchen and washer and dryer. Owner really nice and helpful.... Except we ordered wood to burn prior to our arrival that never came... Despite.. We had fun in the trails and made memories with our kids and friends :) the trails were close as well as gas and food..."
