"I currently live here, thankfully my contract expires in august and I’ll be out of here asap. This place looked promising at first but we never have hot water for hours and many times the whole day. We have to keep our shower running for hours for any warm water to kick in. It’s a constant stressful time with this. The rent is tooooo high for how this place is. Anyone reading please I beg you, don’t torture yourself coming here. I was very excited when moving in because it looked nice until we actually started living here. And they supposedly have tried fixing the issue but it’s only for 5 mins. But it’s not maintenance fault they do what they can, it’s on the property owner or whoever is in charge to replace the old pipes but they probably won’t. So yeah good luck showering here there are time where I’ve had to go to family living elsewhere to shower I’m done asking them for help here because they never will."

"My brother and I leased with Lynbrook from 2020 to 2021. To start off, we signed a lease for a renovated apartment with 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, a den, and a washer/dryer in-unit for under $1600. Upon move-in, the unit they showed us to was not renovated and did not have the extra half bath or the washer/dryer. After 3 hours of negotiations, they revealed that they unfortunately didn't have any units on their property matching the one we signed for. That sounds like false advertising to me, but they called it an honest mistake since they've only owned the properties for three years. Eventually, they allowed us to move into a renovated unit with no extra half bath and a washer/dryer that was not functioning properly, charging us almost $1800 for rent. The other option was to break our lease, which would have cost us 2 months of rent, which we couldn't afford to pay up front at the time being between jobs in the height of COVID, so we were stuck. Throughout our time there, we dealt with ignored or significantly-delayed maintenance requests for flooding, a non-flushing toilet, a washer/dryer that didn't work, and mice. Also, people's cars were frequently broken into, including my own. The managers claimed they had surveillance cameras in every lot to avoid trash dumping, but when I asked if they would be able to determine who broke in, they said they didn't have any cameras in "that parking lot." Almost three years later, and we're still hearing about Lynbrook. I encourage you to look elsewhere."

"It is the worst place to live in it. My advice to all do not rent here, in another place you can get a better apartment for the same price and with great management. My experience here, when I moved here I rented an apartment which had everything used in it which I expected but when I moved out from their apartment they wanted everything to be brand new, for which they charged me for many things to renew their apartment. In short they will give you an apartment in silver condition but in return they want it in gold condition. All the staffs in residence services office are so rude and unhelpful except a white guy. A lot of rodents are here and they do not treat them properly. Overall I do not recommend to anyone Stay away from them, other ways you will regret."

"Our vents for the last 3 months. Roaches under the floors and on the walls, and mildew, uncaring rude staff. Avoid this like the plague. Cigarettes and glass all over the playgrounds you pay a $90 amenity fee for. Broken glass, bottles caps, trash all over the common areas, my kid can’t even play outside Edit- the service manager was very helpful and the only one who was compassionate about my asthma and my sons being affected by the mildew"

"I have been living in apartments for 10 years and this is easily the worst experience I've ever had. The staff, maintenance team, and residents (for the most part) are all incredibly rude. I had issues before I even moved in. After we (Morgan Properties and myself) both signed my lease, they broke the lease and told me the current occupants decided to resign and I would have to find somewhere else to live. This was less than one week before I was supposed to move in. I was new to the area and had no where else to go. I threatening legal action since we both signed the lease to make it active, and they magically found another unit for me to rent. However, it was clear the unit that was not ready for someone to move in because it was in shambles when I arrived. It was missing the overhead lights, the dishwasher was broken, the closet doors didn't open, and the list goes on. My original unit had a washer/dryer, so they promised me my new place would have one installed by August. I didn't get it until December. My shower and toilet overflowed simultaneously. It took them three days before coming to fix it so I could not shower or use the toilet at that time. When they fixed it, the maintenance team used my bath towels and bath mat to mop up the moldy water and also left feces on the bathroom floor that I then had to clean. They refused to pay me back for the damage done to my belongings. My garbage disposal wasn't working and when the maintenance team fixed it, the pipes spewed grease everywhere. They left my entire kitchen covered in grease and it took over 2 hours to clean. I had mice and cockroaches running around my apartment for the entire year I lived here despite buying my own traps and repellent and keeping my apartment clean. They tried treating it by using incredibly inhumane traps. My toilet overflowed with suds multiple times due to the people above me using too much soap in their washer. Not only did I end up having to clean it each time, but the staff told me to go to each apartment above me and talk to them about it to fix the issue. My heater wasn't working and it took them 5 separate times before it was fixed. I had to sleep in my parka. The people two floors above me constantly litter and throw food off the balcony, including foods unsafe for dogs, and the office team never followed up. The people above me played soccer until 4 AM most nights and I complained to the office and nothing happened. My friend's car had his windows smashed in the parking lot and they told me there was no way they could help and their "cameras weren't working". I had numerous packages stolen. My dog and I were brutally attacked by another dog that wasn't licensed or registered within the community. I would stay as far away from Lynbrook and Morgan Properties as possible. It was an absolute nightmare living here."
