Reviews of Colonnade Apartments
"While the pictures of the apartments look amazing, the location is good, every time I try to call to see if they have an apartment available I cannot seem to ever get in touch with anyone."
"I think this apartment complex has fantastic amount of space compared to most other one-bedroom apartments. The only thing that disappoints me though is that they only have six one bedroom apartments and all the others are two and three bedroom apartments and you cannot use Section 8 housing in two or three bedroom apartment unless you have children."
"It will be two years in June that I have been living here. As a current resident here I would honestly NOT recommend that you waste your time. Yes, the apartments are beautiful and are in a good location, however the quality of the office staff has slowly deteriorated over time. If one person is sick, the rental office will literally not open up at all. Decisions are made without using basic common sense. For example, the rental office decided to close without notice for the three business days leading up to Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. That wouldn’t have even really been a problem besides the fact that many of the resident packages, including gifts were locked into the office. When I called regarding this, I was told that “ I could have picked up my packages prior to them closing unexpectedly.” They were completely indifferent to the fact that they hadn’t given any of the tenants notice of their inconvenience and disservice. Another example, I needed a replacement key. It’s not a regular key that I can go to Walmart for and get a copy of, not is it cheap. $75 in fact. I had to wait until Tuesday afternoon, after the office closed again, with no prior notice, as usual on Monday. I went in around 12, made the payment for my key fob replacement and was told that I would be called when the key was ready. She quoted me around 1:30 pm. She NEVER called me and I gave a little extra time for the manager to give me a call. Fast forward to 4:30 pm. I walked into the office, no clients, no meeting going on, just her in the office with my key on her desk. I walked in and asked why I was never called. Her response.... “ Sorry I got busy.” Once again, complete Indifference and such a lack of urgency for a service that was requested and paid for promptly. As a customer service employee, this is just such a deal breaker for me. It would not be as much of a problem if so many things didn’t have to be done through the rental office. Also, when the shoe is on the other foot and the members of the rental office need something from you as far as paper work, etc they hassle you. Not to mention late fees when they’re inconvenienced, however the residents of Colonnade are constantly stiffened and inconvenienced on a regular basis. Very hypocritical. I’d say give your money to a place where your needs are addressed promptly and taken seriously. Also, parking is horrible. When I first moved in, we had to obtain visitor parking passes, which wasn’t an issue. Fast forward 8 months into my lease and a letter is sent to all residents saying that no more passes will be distributed. Our guests have to use the parking lot downtown, two blocks away from the building. My boyfriend and my sister’s car have been towed from this parking lot after brief visits here before I had been informed about the parking policy. They’ve also given me the run around about my service dog. As someone from inside the box, save yourself the headache."
"These people take your money to run your credit - mine was fair/good and they knew beforehand that my income was not high enough anyway. They told me that after a hard credit hit and taking my credit $ fee. Rip-off. I found a better place."
