Reviews of HAF REAL ESTATE , LLC
"Could I give this a negative 100 I would. Please do not come near this place. The owners and operators of this building are criminals. The office managers were overcharging individuals extra rent and pocketing it. Large quantities of personal mail was stolen and hoarded, mail boxes were left without a way to lock them. The building is in horrible disrepair. They have been on notice with the fire dept for more than a year now. There have been dozen of major and minor water leaks and flooding. The owner himself has no interest in the damages done by management and the state of disrepair nor has he or will he properly maintain the property Anyone who complains or pushes back are evicted. I say this freely without fear because it is the Truth and I have direct evidence."
"Mt. View apt: When my item got delivered they put it in my mailbox. I just moved here so I didn't have my mailbox key. I went to talk to the lady in the office and she told me she was going to have it opened. Went and talked to her 3 diffferent time nothing happened. My item stayed in the mailbox for a week. When i went to talk to her again she wanted to tell me that she was going to have it opened again. I told her i needed the item for the next day, that's when she started to miss treat me. She was not nice at all. When you rent an apartment you would expect to have a mail box right? Well not here, the lady said it was not in my lease and if i wanted a mailbox i need to go to the post office and pay $30 (she was not talking to me like she wants to educate me, she was yelling at me at this point). The property manager, i think her name is Meghan, not nice at all. Considering the way I was treated in the office, I do not recommend this place. Just an update: I went to the post office and talked to them about the mailbox, and they said it was not managed by them and that it was managed by the property owner. So, I went back to the property manager's office to tell them what the post office said. First of all when I knocked on the door, that Meghan lady rolled her eyes and said Oh my God, which I totally ignored her. I told the other lady what the post office said and the lady said "it's a lie." Just all together unprofessional. I went back to the post office told them what they said. The post office unlocked my mailbox for me, which I am thankful for, and have someone call me to tell me that my mailbox was left open, later I found out that the person who left me a voice-mail was one of the ladies from the office. In the voice-mail I was able to hear the guy tell the lady that the mailbox was not managed by the postal office, but by them, the lady was nice to him she told him ok honey. She told me they were lying but when he talked to her she was very nice to him and just said ok. I was able to help myself, took me just 2 day in this situation, the lady made me wait a week for nothing. What is a property manager for if they can't do little things like this. They could have called the postal office or even go talk to them, it is not even that far. They are just too much."
"I’m honestly surprised that they haven’t been turned in as slum lords for their property in martinsburg Wv , doors don’t close gaps all the way around them cold air just pores in plumbing leaking black mold growing on the ceilings from the leaks , paint pealing off the walls counter tops have been repainted and pealing , the air vents haven’t been cleaned and ceilings are black around them cracks in the ceilings and walls back decks are dry rotted and falling apart, kids swing set they have in the back is falling apart and not safe for children to play on . Anytime a problem is called into the office about issues or something needing fixed they tenets are told it’s not their problem that they’re not responsible for fixing and replacing anything , dishwashers in the units half aren’t working and tenets are told they’re not replacing them. These units are not safe for anyone to live in and need to be completely renovated. Anyone with health issues or children these units are not for you ."
