I told My cousin I didn't think My legs would be able to handle it but I would go anyway and I was right but I had a great time sitting in the shallow with my aunt cause helping her get back to her feet was somewhat halarious to me. "This is such a great little pool in the heart of Saltville, VA. It’s a little bit of a drive off of Interstate 81 but it’s definitely worth the trip. The pool is a saltwater pool. It’s not huge but it’s the perfect size considering it’s a wave pool. The waves come in spurts and seems to be around 10 minutes of waves, 5 minutes off. When the waves are off, the deepest section is around 4.5 feet. They have heavy duty inner tubes available at no additional cost. There is also a shallow kids section. Once the waves start, it may be difficult for young children to be in the deeper section as the waves can force the water to more than 5 ft plus current. All of the staff were very friendly. The snack bar was affordable and had chips, crackers, candy bars, and bottled drinks. There are a few lounge chairs available and a covered picnic area with tables. The bathrooms were as expected for a public pool. I highly recommend this pool for adults and kids, I think it’s fun and it’s like having a little piece of the beach in the Appalachian Mountains."
