"I've been going to Maymont since I was a baby. It never gets old and it's beautiful any time of the year. My own kids love the children's farm and feeding the goats. They love walking the path to see if the bobcat, fox and bears are out. There are also elk, deer, eagles and more. Then of course their favorite is walking thru the Japanese gardens and across the stepping stones. It is fun for all ages. You can even tour the mansion. There are also special events like the Maymont glow which is fun as a family or girl night. You can take a quick walk or spend the day there. It is truly a treasure in Richmond."
