"Our 2nd year staying at the Townsman for the VA Film Fest did not disappoint. The location is perfect for events on the Downtown Mall. Rooms are well appointed (the little espresso maker makes a good cup!) and even though there are street noises from the vibrant night life, closed curtains and white noise machine (provided) make for a good night’s sleep. Getting access to the Common House is a lovely bonus. We will be back!"

"I had a great experience with ‘Stay Charlottesville’. My family and I stayed at Waterperry farm, and we were absolutely blown away by how beautiful everything was! As an interior designer, I especially appreciated the rustic styled living area the most. I would take staying here over a hotel any day. The exterior had the most incredible garden and fountain. Catherine was a very kind host and takes such delicate care of the garden. I had so much fun just exploring and admiring the area. Morgan and Lisa in customer service made the booking process very easy and answered every question I had regarding the property. All in all, I would highly recommend staying here!"
