Reviews of RAAC - Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community
"RAAC is an essential force in promoting and funding the arts in all aspects in Rappahannock County. From visual arts to performing arts and everything in between, RAAC encourages the development and recognition of local artists. They recently started hosting performances at the RAAC Theatre a.k.a. the Little Washington Theatre. And their summer concert series at Sperryville River District has quickly become a popular community tradition. RappCo is lucky to have their presence!"
"This is a great little theatre affiliated with a community arts organization, called the Rappahannock (County) Association for Arts and the Community (RAAC). The group is very welcoming of new actors and others who want to volunteer to work on productions. They do three or four major productions a year, including a cast-of-thousands holiday show. Recent plays include Proof, The Odd Couple, You Can't Take it With You, Uncle Vanya, Red, Arcadia, Annie, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, and A Thousand Clowns. A separate annual production, No Ordinary Person, features four or five members of the community sharing their personal stories of turning points or special people in their lives. It's always a sell-out."
