"Had a virtual appointment with a nurse practitioner, to review what I can do about debilitating arthritis pain. Was signed on early waited for 15 minutes past the scheduled time, just for her to pop on the screen without audio, and then pop off. I tried to find a way to contact her but there was no way to contact her directly. Go elsewhere, you're just a number and cash cow, this place is awful. In fact, most of the medical community east of Richmond is garbage, you'd be better off going to there."

"I made an appointment for Doctor Morrison back in February this year and the soonest I could get seen was on September 7th. All I want is to start seeing a primary care physician so I can keep track of my health. I’ve waited seven months to have this appointment. I got a call from Sentara this past Friday saying that Dr. Morrison has updated her schedule and that I can no longer be seen by her. They said I could either cancel the appointment or instead be seen by mister Dr. Kincaid. I told them I would rather have a female doctor, the lady on the phone made no effort to reschedule me with a female physician and said that she’ll just cancel my appointment all together. Seven months! I’ve waited so long and they cancel my appointment a week and half before I have it! I can’t fathom the lack of care this facility has for people. Which is something no medical practice should portray themselves as being like."

"My first visit started off as a train wreck. Without going into a lot details the nurse/med staff did not present a competent or professional impression. After waiting almost an hour Dr. Nien entered the exam room. I explained the very poor experience I had received and that I did not have any confidence in the staff. He willing listen and apologized for the poor service. He assured that my experience was not the normal performance and he would insure that it never happen again. Dr. Nien was very professional and willing to listen. This was a new patient visit and he had downloaded and reviewed my medical history and was very well versed on my medical conditions and prepared to discuss on going medical care. Dr Nien made up for a very poor start. I am hopeful that the administrative staff and get the practice back on a professional track."

"As a registered nurse myself that works with patients and doctors in medical center, I was extremely disappointed at my first impression of this office. It was our first time appointment for my daughter. we were unclear of the location around the facility, so me and my daughter (missing class for this appointment) were 11 min late trying to locate the office front desk. We were told we were late & could not be seen. No regards for a new patients health & well being as we had this appointment scheduled 2 months in advance! Where I work we do not turn our patients away if they are 11 min late for a reason out of their control, we understand the importance for their health & well being. My daughter will now have to endure another several months of waiting to be seen for treatment! Very, very disappointing."
