Reviews of Riverside Primary Care Kiln Creek
"This clinic treated me as though I were drug seeking, abusive to staff and abruptly expelled me from the entire practice. This is a clinic that refuses to accept responsibility for prematurely dismissing their patients needs and concerns. I am not the only patient who has reported this kind of treatment from both the clinic and NP Keith. I came into the clinic experiencing symptoms both physically and psychologically after losing the last of my prescription. I was told that I'd be seeing a doctor because I indeed report symptoms. However, this ended up being NP Keith instead. When NP Keith came in we both greeted each other and she sat down to ask what my chief complaint was, at this point my mother who was an RN for 50 years+ is now accompanying me during this visit and remains a witness to NP Keith and I's interactions. I began to explain my pain level and where the pain was, and how my blood pressure was elevated. I then began to tell her how my day started and where I normally kept my medication. Upon doing this, I was immediately interrupted by Keith, who snapped, and said, "If that's what you're here for, I can't help you, my friend." I hadn't asked NP Keith for anything and only attempted to give her a full picture of why I was so sick. Unfortunately, I am still accused of harassing her for medication. NP Keith is trained and authorized to objectively treat patients and there is always alternative treatment in medicine, however I received a total stonewalling. My regular GP Dr. Jones was actually in the office that day. However, medical staff could not communicate or ask him permission to give alternative treatment. Unbeknownst to me, I was not permitted to even mention my medication to anyone without reprisal. Keith already had a preconceived opinion as to why I was there. NP Keith retorts three times that no help could be given and asks if I wanted to continue with the physical examination, at this point I'm already laying on the table waiting for the next step. She then repeats loudly if I want to proceed with the examination. Who would continue with a billable examination after they've been told no help could be given? I tell NP Keith no thank you and stepped off the table. At this point I am in literal tears, which makes Keith uncomfortable. NP Keith begins to leave the exam room and my mother then asks, "what is your recommendation". Keith had already taken me down the road of possible migraine symptoms but took no further action. For the last time she says nothing can be done and accuses me of signing a medication form. At this point an MA called MA Cierra is standing outside of the doorway listening to our conversation. She was not a part of my intake process nor examination but inserted herself into my case. MA Cierra comes into the examination room and introduces herself as Dr Jones nurse. She begins looking through their database for the medication document that NP Keith had previously accused me of signing. My mother and I are still siting in the examination room and to no avail could MA Cierra find this document. My mother then asks again, "What is the course of action", as my symptoms were never addressed"'. MA Cierra turns to us and says ,"she'll just have to deal with it", that is our recommendation. I am still actively sobbing while MA Cierra continues to verbally dismiss my cries and shake her head. At no point did I ever make contact with Dr. Jones, unfortunately, he would attest to the accusation of mistreatment to his staff. I leave the office with my family completely defeated and ill. When I went to mychart to access my visit notes and recommendations in writing, nothing was founded. My chart continues to be tapered with days later as NP Keith's appointment was also removed from my chart as though the visit never was scheduled or happened. There is no documentation that supports what happened during my visit, my physical concerns, or the treatment plan. The only contact I tried to make with Dr. Jones was the next day and via mychart, which was to ask for his personal recommendations."
"I was skeptical to get seen because of the bad reviews below. But as someone who has been getting care through the Army and the VA……my provider here was amazing. I saw Dr. Sashank Pokhrel, he listened to my concerns, went thoroughly through my medical chart. He provided me with after care instructions and follow up care, especially referrals. He was thorough with my medications list as well. He wasn’t dismissive at all and took every concern seriously. The staff at the front desk took care of me, the nurses were nice. I had no issues at all."
"This office is unprofessional and uncaring.. I just started going to this office for sicknesses. I have type 1 diabetes and had been throwing up for several days and went in to be seen.. the nurse practitioner I saw was leelawattie bisnauth. She is not our normal practitioner. She was very rude upon entering my room and the first thing she said was we can’t hydrate you.. did not even try to assist me.. was very rude and stormed out when I questioned her. Then a supposed office manager came in and backed her up without even a consideration of my sickness.. then asked what else they can do for me very condescendingly.. I said nothing and walked out. Then we called the office and asked for our normal practitioner to call us, which she did not. I then received a letter dismissing me from the practice on my chart for questioning the care I was not receiving while being a sick type 1 diabetic trying to avoid keytoacidosis… very terrible office… 100% do not recommend if you would like an office to care about you as a patient"
"This office is horrible. Zero compassion or empathy for sick diabetic patients. FNP Leelawattie Bisnauth got rude and ugly and kicked a diabetic patient out for being sick. Which is why we come here and give them our money. They took our money of course, then the unprofessional Dr(not a doctor) didn’t even introduce themselves, we had to find her name on our own, and the only words out of her mouth were what she CANT do to help the patient without asking any questions to even find out why they are there. FNP Leelawattie Bisnauth treated the patient horribly. Please avoid her at all costs. Especially if you are in need of compassion and empathy."
"I scheduled a new patient appointment regarding a concern for my daughter with Beverly Brown, NP which was a total disappointment. Brown, NP seemed incompetent, non concerned, non caring, not thorough, not efficient and sent the impression that the potential severity of the concerns was not being taken seriously. I have been a Registered Nurse for 23 years and give kudos to those deserving. I’ve worked with Licensed Practical Nurses and Medical Assistants who are much more thorough than Brown, NP. It seems as though the visit was not taken seriously. Like because my daughter is a teenager with no at hand serious visible serious concerns that the visit was an in and out order the labs that I requested and that was it. Brown, NP was not even competent enough to discuss my questions and concerns with my daughter being a new patient. When I asked for my daughter’s care to be transferred to an actual physician due to the lack of confidence. My daughter was banned from seeing anyone at Riverside Kiln Creek and my daughter’s follow up appointment with Dr. Leavey due to the abnormal labs was canceled. In my opinion. This is not a NP who cares, it is not the reflection of an office manager that cares and is focused on quality. Apparently Dr. Leavey shares the same mindset as this had to be a group decision. To not care about a parent and a teenage girl wanting to receive the most competent care when medical concerns exist speaks volumes about the mentality level of all involved stated above. If all above truly cared…My daughter’s follow up appointment would not have been canceled for abnormal labs. Total disappointment."
