In and Out Express Care

"I went in to be seen for a sore throat, I suffer from sinus infections. The provider sent the triage nurse in to do a strep/COVID/flu test. When the results came back negative the provider told me there is nothing to be done because I did not have strep. I told her I knew I didn’t have strep, because it was a sinus infection (I know what it is because I suffer from them), she then began to say “well since you don’t have facial pressure and it has only been 2 days there is still nothing that I can do. I don’t feel comfortable prescribing anything, for a sinus infection you have to have it for at least 10 days in order to get an Rx!” I told her I was there for a sore throat and she never even checked my throat? She told me I was more than welcome to go to another Urgent Care and she would check my throat but there is still nothing she can do! After looking she said it wasn’t red enough for her to give me anything and reiterated that I could go elsewhere. I went to my ENT doctor the very next day and as soon as she looked she said “oh yeah it’s pretty red down there, I’ll prescribe you with liquid steroid, because I don’t want you to swallow a pill you’re swollen as well."

"Receiving a bill 6 months and 2 years after being there is not acceptable. They have lied to me telling me when billing has gone home etc. Than hanging up on me when the lady could not assist with making a payment online. I don't want to give my credit entails over the phone. Learn to do your job in a timely manner and have some pr skills. Miss diagnosed on another apt. Told me I had blood in my ear when it was a piece of an ear bud as well."

"They call it in and out. Well apparently something changed. Sitting here almost two hours, still not seen the doctor or PA. Patient first takes two to three hours. So I figured I come here, usually been out in an hour. From now on I rather do patient first. Cause at least they can give you prescription before you leave, if needed and do blood work if needed. So lesson learned. By the time you get out here, if you need prescriptions, the pharmacy places won’t have time to fill it."
