"I had multiple appts here in 2018/2019 with Dr. Wax before they were bought out by VCU. I had ended up having surgery and had no complaints with Dr. Wax or the clinic. However, they seemed to have lost my records with their upgrade to the epic system. I’ve called VCU medical records and the practice several times and can’t get anywhere because they can’t find anything. Losing medical records is a really big deal! Edit: Obviously if they were on MyChart I wouldn’t need to contact patient records. And they’d also be able to see them. They don’t exist."
"Very friendly, got an appointment very quickly, saw the PA Brittany Revels, very kind, and knowledgeable! All the staff are helpful and kind!"
"I visited 4 times, and each time I was brought in quick, had my x-rays, and received accurate and timely diagnostics. I appreciate their service, and I suggest them for the basic wrist, joint, and sports and workplace injuries, since that's what I went for."
"Was referred to VCU for an issue with my hip. I was seen twice, had injections in my hip for Bursitis. The last one was so painful & continued to be painful for several weeks. The last visit I said I wanted another opinion before any more shots. Doctor got offended became arrogant, told me that was my right & left the room. Fast forward...went to Duke Orthopedics, they did an MRI & discover I had a ripped hamstring tendon that was causing 80% of my pain. VCU needs to review the efficiency of their doctors. They never once did any testing but a quick x-ray. Shame on the two doctors that saw me for being more worried about their egos than their patients. Thank goodness for Duke Orthopedics. Folks, get second opinions outside of VCU Orthopedics."
"Doctor with hair coming out of his ears gave me a splint for my broken finger my hand hurts everyday and looks deformed. He told me he didn’t want to do the surgery after doing x rays. He didn’t give me any pain meds so I got ibuprofen from cvs my bill was $500 because I didn’t have insurance at the time. I asked for my x rays and they gave me some other persons phi. Im just over it at this point going to the emergency room hopefully someone will fix my broken pinky. I now have insurance but wasn’t worried about paying i’m just tired of living and working in pain."
