"I could not believe how great everything was here. I have stayed in various hotels throughout the country. The breakfast is great, the room is so clean and fresh smelling, and they provide housekeeping every day which a lot of hotels no longer provide. The staff was great, as are the amenities. Sorry this was so long...very impressive"

"Nice people working there. Makes a huge difference even if hotel was more run of the mill. Upholstered chairs in rooms need cleaning! Couches too. This is an average place but gets 4 stars because of the staff."

"Family and I stayed here and the Furniture in the lobby is shabby, worn, and extremely dirty with stains and sticky, the furniture looked like it was falling apart. Pool closed, facilities very unsanitary and for a Holiday Inn you will be very disappointed as we were. Rooms were needing clean dirty floors. Hotel needs a major renovation. Steer clear of this property for the price you are paying high dollar for location only. Restaurant was closed. Pool Closed. We will not be returning."

"This review is mainly for the building itself and not the employees as they were super friendly and accommodating. The building is outdated, carpet and rooms were outdated. This hotel is definitely outdated and it needs some major upgrades. The pool looked dirty and it hasn’t been cared for for years. The lobby is the only area that looks modernized which can be deceiving. Bottom line, don’t expect anything special from this holiday inn."

"Pool was nice and warm. Kids enjoyed it, could stay open an hour later. Room was large, didn’t feel as clean as the Blacksburg location, could use updating of furniture in the rooms, lobby seems newer(or rooms are just really really used). Shower went from cold to hot without touching, extremely hard for me to sleep not blaming that on hotel, a shower without it spazzing temperature would have helped. Never enough soaps supplied it seems at most locations, when you check in with 2 kids all locations could offer more at check in... and they have higher snack prices then other locations. Or they all went up since February who knows. Overall was an extremely busy hotel. Staff was lovely and that’s a huge plus! We would stay at this location again, if needed just hope for a better shower."
