"I went to Octavia’s Oasis to treat myself for my birthday. It has been a while since my face got some real tlc, so I decided to get a facial. Mind you, my previous experience with a facial at another spa was pretty horrible. I was left to fry under the steamer, had no one in the room with me to express my concerns and the extractions were painful! It was the first and last time I got a facial. I never understood after that experience, how anyone would want such a thing done to their face. Fast forward many years later, I wanted to give it another try to either seal the deal on nixing facials or if my mind could be changed about them. Octavia changed my mind! It was actually WONDERFUL. I felt really good in her care. She made me feel totally relaxed, she never left my side, answered all of my questions, gave me tips for my skin care routine and went above and beyond what I was expecting. I got way more out of this visit than I did at the other place. This will be the only place I ever go to for a facial and now I want to try her other services. This should be how it’s done. She really set the standard for me. It really did feel like a treat to myself and not torture. The place itself is like a hidden retreat."
