"Decent doctor (other than always running late) otherwise a terrible experience here. Staff are inexperienced, unprofessional, and rude. Was told I was a "bad patient for asking too many questions" by one of the receptionists. Also the facility is really gross and run down. Would NOT recommend to anyone."

"At least the staff was very courteous to me. However, it was not specified to me that my insurance was out of network, as the practice is listed as in network on Zoc Doc which is shady at best. That discrepancy has lead to an unexpected expensive bill. Also, Dr. Obioha isn't the greatest listener. I did NOT follow his treatment plan at all and still managed to resolve my own issue myself. Thanks for nothing."

"My experience with the doctor and staff here has been truly miserable. I waited for over an hour in the waiting room to be seen and was given an absurd amount of paperwork to complete. Once I was called to the back, I then had to re-provide the same information I had just filled out to the doctor for him to put into an iPad. After no more than a 10 minute conversation, without any consistent information about my diet or other daily habits, it was recommended that I come back for, what I consider, to be a pretty extensive and extreme procedure. It was extremely disappointing because it came off as if this practice is more concerned with doing extensive, high cost procedures rather than providing holistic, comprehensive, and meaningful care. I decided not to return for the procedure and then received a bill for the office visit which was much higher than I expected considering I was told this office was in network. I paid so that I wouldn’t have to deal with the office any further but then I received another bill! When I called the person at the front desk they couldn’t offer any explanation of why I received another bill over a month after I already paid the balance and although the balance was confirmed to be cleared, the experience further added to the lack of professionalism I witnessed during my initial visit."

"The Dr. Himself is lovely and I got good treatment. However the receptionist at his Maryland location is incredibly rude and hostile. She made me feel super uncomfortable and stupid whilist I was waiting for my colonoscopy (which was delayed by 2 hours without notice from the office). I am still giving 5 stars because Dr. Obioha is great and goes to extra mile to make sure you’re feeling better. And the other staff were also lovely."

"I have left maybe 3 reviews in my entire life, but my experience at Digestive Disease Clinic has been so miserable I felt I had a duty to warn others. I was told that my insurance was in-network via two modes of communication. Nothing was actually in network, resulting in bills that were horrifyingly high. One kind employee, Ms. Luzy, was very reassuring & worked with with me to lower my bills. However, she is the only person there who has treated me with any respect. When I called to ask about the details of my updated bill, I was hung up on after being spoken to with a negative, raised voice. The facility itself (the clinic & the surgery center) had a bad odor & is in poor condition. The wait time was at least 30 minutes past each of my scheduled appointments. After all of this, the only advice I've received is to drink more water. I would do anything to go back in time & change my decision to go here."
