"My sports medicine doctor set me up for ten weeks of twice-a-week physical therapy to work through some issues I was having with my right hip. After assessing me, my therapist, Christina Kennedy said she only thought I needed one session a week, which, along with at-home exercises, is what I did. After four weeks, I was (almost) as good as new. I liked the idea that Christina didn't try to overdo the number of therapy sessions. As far as the actual therapy sessions, they were great. Christina was very caring, making sure I didn't overdo it, while making sure that there was therapeutic value to each session and each exercise. She also provided me with a set of stretches I should do at home two to four times a day. Once she felt that I had full range of motion back with almost no pain, she let me know that she thought I could be discharged, but she left the decision up to me. She suggested I go home and see how I felt. If I needed another session, we'd schedule it; if not, she'd discharge me. After a week, I decided that I didn't need any more therapy; she agreed. On another note, I found all of the staff, both therapists and administrative very helpful and friendly. Usually, Erica, the admin person, would stop by while Christina was working with me and we'd kid around. That made the sessions both therapeutic and fun. If you're in need of PT, I highly recommend this location of Select Physical Therapy, especially Christina. (I assume the other therapists are as good, but Christina was the only one who really worked with me.)"
