"This school has a very good learning system, but its special education department was more then just lacking. The staff for this department was very rude, and very incompetent. They really didnt know how to treat, take care nor teach their special education students. If u think leaving a kid to just watch barnie all day long instead of these teachers doing their jobs and creating a structured plan for these kids is teaching. Then you might aswell call this department the special daycare of forest park. Especially their director of the department. I dont understand how a woman with no special education background can run it. Maybe thats why my child didnt learn anything. When i send my child to school as i parent i expect my child to be going to school to learn. Not to be stuck to a screen n ignored. I had a particular issue with an elderly woman there named ms.Heather. very rude and incompetent woman. No respect nor any knowledge of how to teach. There was only two woman in this department that ive seen in action n commend in their teachings. A ms.lake and ms.christina. these two women showed great knowledge in their special education classes. Catered and had a structured idea and plan for my child. THANK YOU MS.LAKE AND MS.CHRISTINA FOR YOUR REAL HARD WORK IN THIS DEPARTMENT. Word to the wise. If your a parent and u want your special child to learn n grow. These are the two woman you go to. And make sure he/she is in their class. Im a proud parent of a 17 year old boy with autism. N thanks to these two women over the last month has displayed great improvement."
