"First things first, if you want a successful VBAC go to Traci! I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care and support I received from Traci during my journey to a successful VBAC. She truly went above and beyond in every aspect of my care. Her patience, unwavering dedication, and expertise were instrumental in making this experience a reality. I was in labor for 22 hours and pushed for 5 hours - and she guided me through it with incredible patience, skill and compassion. What sets her apart is her ability to find different labor positions and perform maneuvers to ensure the baby was in the right position for a successful VBAC. She never gave up on me, even during the 5 hours of pushing. Thanks to her, I felt confident and at ease throughout the process, and I had minimal tearing. I can say with certainty that without her, I wouldn't have achieved this incredible milestone of a VBAC. She is not just an amazing midwife but an outstanding professional who truly cares about her patients. I'm forever grateful for her support and expertise. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for making this journey possible."
"TRACI MARIN, goodness, I am forever grateful for this incredible person, midwife, friend. I saw Traci for my almost 38 week appointment, where my BP jumped and an induction was recommended the following morning. I am a nurse, I knew what that meant, and definitely tried to fight that it was actually real, because I did NOT want an induction. Traci took my BP a solid 5 times in office, all reading high, even after relaxing at home for the evening. She called me that evening for an update on my pressures, and walked through all of my options, the process of induction, and helped calm my nerves. She left it up to me if I wanted to move forward with induction, or risk waiting, but was straight forward with my risks. I called her the following morning letting her know I was coming in, and she promised to be there every step of the way, that right there eased my mind more than she probably knows. Traci was there for my induction, entire labor, delivery, and even post partum. She was a constant through my time there, and that is so important to me. It makes me so emotional thinking about how much she LOVES what she does, how much she loved us even after knowing her a short time, and that makes all the difference in the world. Her presence was perfect, genuine, above and beyond, she is skilled, knowledgeable, and attentive to all details. She knew I wanted to try for an unmedicated delivery, inductions can make that a bit harder, but she was a full support and truly believed in me. She was very much about minimal interventions and not rushing the process. She surprised me with room 5, a stunning birthing suite with portable monitors, a tub, etc. I could not believe it! Being a NICU nurse makes me think the worst, as I have seen pretty awful deliveries, so originally I was just not optimistic, I was fearful and anxious. After we got the process started, I completely relaxed, confident, and put my full trust in Traci, which is a HUGE feat in itself, I was surprised how much one person could ease my anxiety and be such a comfort. Having full trust in someone that is watching over you and your baby, is, everything. The fact that I could walk, move, shower, eat, use the tub, and be supported 100% made this delivery not feel anything close to an induction. Traci has such a gift, she has a calming presence, she helped guide me through labor, the pain, and allowed me to catch my own baby, which was simply, incredible. I could not believe that I did it, because of her I felt so much peace during the process, and the most empowering feeling I have ever had, something that will last a lifetime. It is truly life changing, and I owe Traci so much for giving me this. She took my worries away, I just zoned in on how I felt, what my body was doing, and enjoying this beautiful sacred time, rather than focusing on monitors, etc. Traci went out of her way to make you comfortable, she did things I didn’t expect providers to do. She filled the tub for me twice, she helped with positions, she checked on me often, she was by my side when I needed it, a text away, and just gave me so much ease knowing she was there. You really could tell her passion and heart is with you and your baby, that is such a gift. I could go on and on, I would go back and re-live this moment every day, thank you for everything Traci. Thank you for taking my fears away, for empowering me, trusting me, believing in me, giving me autonomy, making my dreams come true during a challenging time in my life, and loving me and my little family, without you and my amazing nurse Annie, I absolutely couldn’t of done it. I am so thankful to of shared this magical, perfect, sacred time with you, I know you’ll forever be part of our story. We love you!!"
"I couldn't have asked for a better birthing experience than with Traci as my midwife. How incredibly knowledgeable and supportive she is made me feel so comfortable and she helped me have a successful VBAC to a 9 pound baby with no tearing!! She guided me through everything and did warm compresses during pushing so I didn't tear. She really takes the time to go above and beyond. Highly highly recommend her! Thank you Traci!"
"Traci is amazing. I love the whole centreville obgyn team but as soon as I had my first via c-section due to an emergency I started researching VBACs and Traci was the name I kept reading. If you really want a vbac and you want to feel empowered and that someone is on your side, willing to take the time to explain pros and cons and make you feel well informed, Traci is who you want. Without her (and some of her colleagues as well), my 26 hour labor, asynclic baby would not have been a vbac success. She was unwavering in her support and confidence in me and the process. She is straightforward in a way that helps you know she knows her stuff and will tell you the facts. I had my second vbac with Traci a few months back and the second time was an even more positive experience. She was firmly in my corner and supportive in every way. I got to catch my own baby and got my golden hour. She doesn’t push interventions. Couldn’t recommend her and the practice more strongly. I am forever grateful I met her and that she came in for my delivery. She is undeterred by hiccups and unphased in the best way. She’s got this with you. Thank you Traci for everything your knowledge and support has allowed me to experience."
"We had to change our birth plan and care within a few weeks of delivering and Traci came highly recommended. From the first appointment I felt at ease and completely confident that this was the best choice for us. Traci made me feel welcome, respected my wishes, and did the best to give me the birth that I wanted to have regardless of the short notice. She even made sure to be the midwife to induce us when it was time to head to the hospital. She has consistently checked on us and made sure that we had everything we needed. I live in Upper Marlboro and this office is not close but I will be continuing my services with Traci for years to come!"
