"Unhelpful at best, harmful at worst. Might as well just suffer whatever ails you without coming here because the end result will be the same as if you hadn't, but you would've wasted time and stress. Last time I was here, they made you wait outside in all weather and deceived you into seeing Christian counselors (who were frankly horrible) before you could see a provider, and the environment was so grimy, dusty, and disgusting. Hopefully all that has changed."
"Operates off donations. And they do everything they can to keep it cheap. So if you have a pressing medical issue, the most they'll do is throw meds at it. They'll do a few cheap tests but forget scans or x-rays. Their receptionist is very hateful and should not be working with the public. If you are just looking for meds, you might get what you want. If you are looking for modern medical treatment...forget it."
"The doctors and nurses are absolutely amazing. But Kim the coordinator and receptionist is such a rude woman. Actually all the receptionist staff are very rude and act like they are better than the people they are there to help. Kim called people names and cussed about them as they were leaving the window for having to deal with an autistic woman with a panic disorder. When confronted about this issue she stated that they offended party was being rude and she could make them wait in the car". So rude with no reason to be or care or compassion."
"This is a wonderful organization. The general medical docs are okay. The specialty docs are the ones that catches the mistakes of the medical docs. The think that irritates me is waiting for hours outside, rain or shine, to see a doctor on Thursdays. I understand it is first come first serve but people like me who can not sit or stand very long due to physical and mental disabilities, it makes it impossible to see a doctor. I wish we could just schedule an appointment. It would save a lot of time. Also waiting in 90 degree sun or pouring down rain, doesn't help the ones that are sick. It just makes it worse. Other than that, I am thankful for having a way to get medical care. With no income and no insurance, Providence does help."
"I have only been going to Providence for a few weeks. They have given me more care and concern than any doctor, clinic or hospital than I have ever been to! They definitely care about you as an individual and as a patient. The love of Christ just flows from one staff member to another! They took me in as a patient when I could not get any health care that I could afford! I can never say enough good things about the wonderful clinic!"
