Cumberland River Behavioral Health, Inc. is a nonprofit community mental health center located at 324 1/2 19th Street in Middlesboro, Kentucky. Since 1966, they have been planning and providing quality outpatient services to individuals in need. Their mission is to help all members of the community achieve their highest potential for living satisfying, productive, and valued lives.

At Cumberland River Behavioral Health, individuals are encouraged to be active participants in developing their recovery goals, with support from family and other interested parties. Services are confidential, culturally sensitive, and payment is based on ability to pay. They offer a variety of counseling services for mental health and substance abuse issues, as well as referral services for in-patient hospitalization.

The center also provides access to a 24-hour crisis line for adults and children experiencing mental health, substance use, or suicide crises. Trained professionals are available to assist individuals in need at any time of day or night.

Cumberland River Behavioral Health serves eight counties in Kentucky, including Bell, Clay, Harlan, Jackson, Knox, Laurel, Rockcastle, and Whitley.
