About Us
Kids Central Clintwood is a school located at 393 Clintwood Main Street in Clintwood, Virginia, United States. Our mission is to embrace, teach, and inspire children in our community. We strive to provide high-quality educational services to meet the needs of our children, families, and community.
We are excited to announce the opening of a new center on our Esserville Campus. Our staff recently enjoyed a holiday breakfast and participated in a fun-filled staff in-service. We offer Head Start programs that focus on early learning, health, and family well-being, with a strong emphasis on parental involvement.
Kids Central, Inc. is a private, non-profit corporation and a grantee of the Head Start Bureau. We are currently accepting applications online for our programs. Our services are available throughout Wise County, Dickenson County, and the City of Norton, Virginia.
Our Board of Directors and Policy Council play integral roles in guiding our institution's operations. Khari Garvin, the director of the Office of Head Start, brings over 20 years of experience in serving children and families in low-income communities.
