"Out of business since approx. 1st of year 2025. Been attempting to reach them by phone, phone disconnected. I wrote two letters finally getting a response (phone call back) stating they closed that office couple months earlier. Couldn't recommend another Podiatrist for me. Wife, father and I were patients."

"Very rude, unprofessional and incompetent called verified my insurance, I arrived in the morning "Emmy" wouldn't even great me or any other customers, she wouldn't even look into it to see if my insurance was covered although I was informed by them my provider and on their website stated they accepted TN/VA medicaid which later I was informed they do Not, she was very agitated I called my provider to verify, stating I was being aggressively argumentive, while the whole time I was kind, polite and professional. After having the provider on the phone trying to confirm it she started yelling at them and me, she finally called her insurance processor handed the phone to me then literally 3 seconds later she starts saying " Give me my phone back now I don't want you having my phone! What are you doing who are you talking to". I informed her I was trying to rectify this issue to save them and customers any complications in the future. So if you have medicaid, ameri group or any others insurance don't waste your time with this place and the doctor is " not a Virgina registered doctor" so that another issue. He may be decent I can't comment but don't waste your time here, or be tricked to coming in then asked to pay a appointment. I don't leave reviews like this but this whole situation was very unpleasant I get its early, she's old but we all have had our life experiences and doesn't give anyone the right to act or facilitate like that."

"This place need to update their information. I have Amerigroup, that I contacted my insurance and got a list of 1 single podiatrist that accepted my insurance and was also informed by associates in the office they can take my insurance. I have a massive, seriously infected foot causing me serious pain and they refused me, saying they didn't accept my insurance. Make sure you double check with this office in multiple ways before going, and making an over hour trip to be told no, but you can pay private."

"Dr. Mazzie is an amazing dr he has been my doctor since 2003 and he’s the only doctor I would ever want handling my troubled feet. I have planter fasciitis and planter fibroma and he has removed lots of bone spurs on me, and fixed a horrible condition I was left with my first foot doctor. The office staff has always been amazing especially Shannon. I assure you if your looking for the best podiatrist or surgeon. He’s the best in this area!"

"Dr. Mazzei ....OMG he's a Cracker Jack. We were all laughing within a couple minutes after he walked in room. This office is awesome. Laid back but get job done type of Doctor's office. They are definitely my office from now on."

"While visiting Abingdon, my toenail began hurting badly. Abingdon Foot and Ankle was able to get me in the same morning I called. It was infected and the nail was removed immediately. I felt very confident in the whole process & recovery has gone just as Dr Mazzei said. I feel extremely blessed to have found such great care while away from home."
