"Linda Law is the best teacher without her i would not be a certified master groomer and have 18 awards in grooming competitions on the east coast! She has trained 100's of other groomers through this school. I want to thank her for teaching me patience and how to love my career. Ronda"
"On February of this year, after an extensive search to find a place where I could learn how to provide the grooming for my small dog, I discovered this school, a good three hour round trip from where I live. Additionally, a whopping $500 for a four hour class and I decided to take the plunge to learn how to groom my pup from a professional like Linda Law, with such amazing credentials. During the trip back home I reflected on my experience with much disappointment and frustration. For the actual grooming portion with a trimmer, I had very little hands on opportunities to start developing a skill. I did cut his nails with the assistance of Linda holding him still, a luxury I would not have at home and the very reason I needed comprehensive materials to take home. I returned with practically no printed instructional information I could use to sharpen my memory. No pictures with explanations on how to groom him without help, since that was my primary concern. I felt I was the first person to contract her for a one on one training since because she was not really prepared. So I reached out to her to take pictures of students or other groomers at different stages of grooming so I could see how to hold mine in a figure eight position like they do in football, I was told. And other things I needed reinforcement after the disappointing class. I called several times and got the same run around that pictures were forthcoming. Forthcoming never. I was shocked by the lack of cooperation for such an easy to do request... take out your phone and just take a few pictures and email to me with a one line of instructions. As a side note, I was charged sales tax for the class and should not have been for services rendered. I bought no retail products. So I question her lack of professionalism and integrity to just have answered my simple questions. I have been holding back for months..... and finally wanted to let Linda and others know I took her seriously to help train me to be on my own and she really disappointed me financially and emotionally.I asked for so little. ldr"
