"First, I want to start with good. My counselor, Scarlett, was very kind and was very willing to help tackle the big issues that I have stuffed deep down. She’s very compassionate and let me talk as much or as little as I needed. I would give her 5 stars and happily see her, should she be at a different facility. Now the reason for the low rating. From the very beginning, I have had trouble getting in. Originally, I had to reschedule 3 times with 3 different counselors before being seen. I was not informed that the counselor I did see was not in my network with my insurance, even though the facility is. I was also charged more than expected. I was told to expect a phone call, which I am still waiting on. In conclusion, Light Counseling needs do better with communication with their clients and the insurance companies."

"Dr. Bernard has provided transformative care for my mind, soul and spirit. (Specifically, he has helped with grief-care and mid-life related issues.) He is highly equipped to address spiritual and emotional concerns with his vast biblical knowledge and scientific education. In the past, I have had to settle for either biblical counseling OR therapeutic care. Dr. Bernard delivers the perfect combination without minimizing either. His pastoral approach is truly wonderful.
