"I came down to visit my handsome and was able to spend more time than planned. I needed to look for a hotel, and IHG on post had availability on such short notice; I was able to check in early, too, which helped. This hotel is so lovely inside and out. It even had a stovetop and sink, too, which is nice to know for next time. For heads, finding parking after 1600-1700 can be tricky; the parking lot gets filled fast. Also, the lovely lady at the front desk did mention that once I know when I'm coming down again to try to book early because of graduations and holidays, they fill up fast. Everything was damn near perfect. I will sure be coming back soon."
"I recently stayed at IHG Hotel and I feel compelled to share my disappointment with regard to the difficulties I faced in receiving mail at this particular location. While I understand that the official policy requires all mail to be directed to the school house, there were extenuating circumstances that necessitated my spouse sending a package directly to the hotel. Unfortunately, the front desk staff seemed unwilling to accommodate this request, which became a source of frustration during my stay. On one occasion, when inquiring about my package, I received a response from an associate who seemed both dismissive and hostile. Instead of simply informing me of the policy, the associate responded with hostility and even emphasized that mail service would not run on Election Day. When I consulted with the post office, they confirmed and provided evidence that my package had indeed been declined at the hotel. This experience left me feeling extremely dissatisfied. As a guest, I believe that the front desk staff should be trained to handle such requests with professionalism and empathy. While it is understandable that hotels may have certain protocols in place for security or operational reasons, it is equally important to consider the unique situations and needs of guests. In this case, with my spouse sending a package during a DONSA period due to specific circumstances, it would have been beneficial for the hotel to demonstrate flexibility and understanding. It is crucial that IHG Hotel addresses this issue and provides better guidance to its staff regarding mail receiving policies. Guests should not feel discouraged or alienated when seeking assistance from the front desk. By improving communication and staff training in handling exceptions to the mail policy, IHG Hotel can ensure a more positive guest experience. In conclusion, I want to express my disappointment with how the hotel handled my request to receive a package directly. The dismissive attitude and lack of empathy from the front desk staff, coupled with the denial of my package and its subsequent confirmation from the postal service, are concerning factors that need to be addressed. IHG Hotel should work towards enhancing their customer service standards to ensure that guests feel acknowledged and supported, even in situations that do not strictly adhere to their mail policy."
"I had a few minor issues: a flickering bathroom light, a defective safe, and a dirty cooktop/counter from recent renovations when checking in. After bringing it up immediately, the staff assigned me a room down the hall that had similar minor issues as well as the door handle being installed improperly making it more of a hassle than waiting for the originally defect room to be fixed. After a week these things did get tended to, but I highly recommend the stay over suites just outside base - as I never had an issue in my 53 day stay last year."
"Been having a great experience. All the staff members have been so kind and accommodating that I had to shine light on the great customer service and hospitality my wife and I received. I had a little hiccup that was completely out of the staffs control and Merrisa went above and beyond for it to be resolved. I told her this wasn’t anyone’s fault, but she reassured that she wanted my wife and I to enjoy ourselves here and thanked me for my service as a service member and it really made my day. Keep up the great work !"
"Stayed here before with my lady. Very nice hotel and right on base for an incredible price. The staff is great, and I will be staying next time I'm in the area. Glad there is an option for veterans and retirees opposed to the higher priced lower quality options off base."
