Holiday Inn Express Hopewell - Fort Lee Area, an IHG Hotel

"Mary was awesome and the entire staff! The breakfast was actually good and had a great variety options of eggs, sausage, sweet rolls and pancakes. Would definitely recommend this to my family and friends."

"The worst thing is that there were ants in the room on the 3rd floor! Upon checking into the hotel, we were told and thereby scared that we were lucky that our reservation remained, because another time, our reservation of this brand of hotel could be canceled. I think they lied to me that we were lucky, just because we paid for the hotel in advance. Entrance to each staircase from which you can climb to your floor, they are all from the street. In the bathroom, the shower door from the bottom is not attached and dangles. Faucet water pressure is very low. The air conditioner did not turn off with the button, I had to unplug it from the outlet. The room stinks of damp because the windows don't open."

"Check your credit card statements when you leave! They double charged my card for my room. The customer service was horrible trying to get this straight. When I called, I was told Whitney would call me back to fix the double charge, but she never did. I called multiple times and was told she was busy and would call back. I finally gave up and had to call IHG to get the charge fixed. Last time staying here."

"This hotel is newer than some of the others we've stayed in. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only negative was breakfast starting at 7am rather than the posted 6am. We like to be on the road earlier. But, we waited and enjoyed the breakfast."

"Nice hotel. In walking distance of a WaWa which serves hot food 24hrs. Clean hotel. Quiet. Free breakfast, which is good. 2 things tho.. the pool wasn't open, and someone please replace the hand sanitizer in the breakfast eating areas (they been out for over 2 days, probably longer). But overall good hotel right near the military base. Would recommend."
