"what a disgusting hotel. There were roaches on the bed in the bathroom on the walls the beds. They looked dirty on all sides a real shame because it does not have the bearing of that. besides expensive it costs more than $ 100 a night I do not recommend it."

"A old in bad repair dirty place to stay. over rated and over priced. No fire extinguishers anywhere. Mu guess will not a fire inspection too old Lots of old homeless people everywhere the bread feed line is in front front door. I wish I never came here"

"I've been here for over a month, and it is roach invested. Management will take personal property out of your room in your absence, and have the audacity to talk arrogantly and disrespectful to its customers. The most negative experience of any hotel I've ever stayed at. They are cheap though!"

"Room size is decent, bathrooms are very small. In the short time I was there, the front desk staff was very nice but the hotel definitely has some issues. I have been in 2 rooms and both had roaches to the point where I took my shoe off to kill some of them ( while balancing on one foot,). I have heard additional reports that the "roach rooms" are the good ones because the others have bedbugs. Management really needs to do some serious pest control in order to make this a reasonable place to stay."

"I greatly enjoyed my stay at the hotel in March 2016. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was clean and quiet. It was so fun riding in the elevator, thinking of all the people over the many many years that also rode in the same elevator.The restaurants that the staff recommended in the area where great, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. I will definitely stay here again when I am in Richmond!!"
