"BEWARE OF THIS FIRM. We had a terrible experience with this firm. We have fairly straight forward taxes and have never had any issue with our tax preparations or filing. This firm completely did our taxes wrong and failed to take into account several deductions and made other egregious errors. The owner, Ron Lovelace, did do his best to make amends and was generous in refunding us our tax prep fee along with an additional sum of money. My last communication with him was tense and frustrating, I felt very disrespected by his email and how he spoke with me over the phone. He was rude, condescending and unprofessional. I called his office 3 total times times over a course of several hours trying to reach him for roughly 5 questions and left messages and also emailed him regarding the concerns I had about the amendments made to our taxes. He emailed back with a nasty tone, which did not resolve my questions as I needed a verbal communication. I called one last time in an effort to get things wrapped up. I was not even calling to complain, I was calling to clear up questions that I had regarding our amendment. That phone call is why I am writing this poor review. Apparently he felt harassed by me wanting to get my last questions resolved. I would say Ron Lovelace is a good guy and he does demonstrate some good character when he isn't annoyed by his client BUT I do feel there is gross incompetence in his firm. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!"
"Mr. Lovelace is very knowledgeable and professional. More than that, he teaches you and is interested in saving you money and in your success. I have had previous CPAs who did a decent enough job and were professional, but lacked the previous good qualities I just mentioned. I don't hesitate to recommend his firm."
