"Called 3 times over the course of 3 weeks before they finally answered. I left voicemail both times previously and no one called back. Finally get an appointment for 3 weeks later, and they call and cancel the day of and reschedule for over another 2 weeks later. My daughter has had strep 5 times in 4 months and will probably have it again by the time they actually see her. She can't live on antibiotics."
"Doctor’s bedside manner is wonderful, he listens and shares advice but doesn’t push anything on you, has heard of and is open to holistic things I want to try, and took me in to see the video of my vocal chords since I requested to see it."
"After I tried to get an appointment in Charlottesville with two different practices and was told I'd have to wait 3 months, I decided to check out Augusta Health Otolaryngology. Fortunately, they had a cancellation and were able to get me in the next day! The intake process was easy and efficient. On the day of my appointment, the receptionist and the medical assistant were both friendly and respectful. Wait times were reasonable and the office was clean and well-designed. Although my issue was minor, Dr. Davidson was so kind and took the time to listen to my concerns. He was able to resolve the problem immediately. It's great to have another choice for my healthcare needs. I highly recommend Augusta Health Otolaryngology!"
"Receptionist/clerk that does the intake of patients should not be in that position! Very rude, very conflict oriented, and did not know how to open her own companies emails… I had a digital insurance card that I sent a copy of too the office before the visit. I am insured through Aetna and the receptionist was adamant that without a physical card to give her, that I was going to be a “self pay” needless to say the visit did not go well… another office employee, “Jennifer” knew how to do the billing and assisted in processing my paperwork. (Thank God!) and of course to top off the visit, I am sure the receptionist intentionally sent my prescriptions to Walmart without my insurance information, she had decided that regardless of how much I pay per week for insurance she was going to penalize me! The receptionist sent the incorrect info to Walmart and a simple prescription for a antibiotic, and prednisone cost me $95!!! The real tragedy is that Dr. Davidson was a excellent doctor and was very thorough in the exam. But the whole experience was a negative one because of one employee that did not know how to properly do her job, that same employee should not be allowed to deal with the public based on her poor attitude. Had to edit the post and reduce the amount of starts to one, I would go with zero stars if that was a option. Very conflict orientated office! The office manager is just in defense mode and will admit to no wrong doing what so ever! I highly recommend if your looking for medical care I would go anywhere but this particular office!"
"The support staff at this office was amazing. From Cheryl who took my initial call to the nurse who took my vitals before my appointment with Dr Lewis , who by the way, was wonderful. I have been dealing with a nasty ear infection for 10 days. I walked in mentally and physically exhausted from it. Dr. Lewis explained everything and what he was going to be able to do to help me. He cleaned my ear out, was very patient and gentle during the process. The check out receptionist was just as kind as the rest of the staff. They saw me when others said it would be at least a month and they were nothing short of amazing. Highly recommend this office."
