"They’re not medical professionals. Augusta health is by far the worst excuse for medical treatment. I would have given zero stars if I could. NP was rude, dismissive, abrasive, and spent less than two minutes with me. I left feeling worse than when I went in and ended up seeing specialists in the days and months following this “visit.” I will be filing a complaint. Take care of your family by going absolutely anywhere else. Update, 6 months later, I’ve filed complaints with every agency I can think of and here’s why: Horrible horrible horrible experience. NP and nurse were so incredibly rude and told me “there’s nothing wrong with you.” Next day, I’m in the ER at UVA. Several X-rays, an MRI, a procedure, neck surgery, five medications, and months of physical therapy later, and guess what?! There WAS something seriously wrong, but this place swore up and down “it’s in your head. Sit up there’s nothing wrong with you. You’re fine.” “Take Tylenol it’s just a headache.” No. I was bleeding internally, and had a damaged disc in my neck. And I came here because it was close. But “nothing is wrong!” I would give negative stars. Come here for a hangnail or anything trivial, or come here if you want to die. If you want medical care where they don’t condescend you, go literally anywhere else. They told me to go home. They told me to go HOME after telling me that I’m wasting their time and “taking us away from people who actually need help.” And I did go home, crying and screaming in pain until 2 AM when I was rushed to UVA ER by ambulance, struggling to move. Thank God for UVA. Guess what Augusta Health, SOMETHING WAS WRONG."

"Everyone here I spoke to was amazing and took me seriously while respecting my time. Short wait, took great care of me, and sent me home with a treatment plan. Dr. Johnson was kind and confident and everything you want in a doctor."

"I almost went to a different provider because of previous reviews but so glad I didn’t. Everyone from the front desk clerk to the nurse to the PA was thorough and pleasant. Listened to our medical issues, completed necessary procedures and provided medication along with detailed instructions. Wonderful medical facility!"

"The Doctor that I spoke with wasn’t friendly, and instead of trying to talk to me and calmly explain the situation, she seemed to get upset and defensive, which in my mind, was selfish, because I was honest and polite to her. The receptionists however, were very nice."

"Very impressed! We moved to town a month ago so I haven't had a chance to set up a PCM for my kids. My son ended up with a huge bruise on his leg and I worried it might be fractured. We went in on a Tuesday afternoon and the wait was next to nothing. We were in and out with x-rays in just over an hour. The nurses, medical staff and doctor were all extremely sweet and helpful. I was very impressed and will be returning next time we're in need."
