"Dear HCHC, you hit the jackpot hiring Kayde! For the patients: I recommend Kayde Guenthner. I have been seeing her for 10 years! I followed her from another clinic to here, and I'm not the only one. Kayde is empathetic, welcoming, and very understanding. She also does not dismiss you or your concerns. Also, if she doesn't think it's anything to worry about, but you do, she will have it checked out further. This really means a lot to me, because not many doctors do that these days. They just dismiss you like you are crazy and it's all in your head. Kayde does not do that. She is truly amazing and caring. I am very comfortable with her, and it takes a lot for me to be comfortable. And, she treats you like family. She cares about every one of her patients! On a side note: I am not sure if it is because they are overworked or what, but the staff answering the phones could be a tad bit nicer. They always sound like they don't want to take your call. Really gives me anxiety when I have to call in to make an appointment. I know pretty much every place is like this, but just giving my two cents. The nurses are phenomenal, though :)"
"I used to go here for Pete Hill. Real pleasure to work with. Felt like seeing an old buddy who was wanting you to live your best life. He took the time to really get to know not only your health needs, but also you as a person, which to me, added so much to the experience. Pete is gone now, so are the other good doctors. We have all switched to elsewhere in the past year. I was the last hold out. They take so long to just get in the door, and even then, it takes forever for a prescription to be put through, and the new doctors are incredibly rude to see the least. Don't waste your time here unless you have no other options."
"My husband was seen on Wednesday January 25. The doctor recommended oxygen because of Covid. He had spent two nights in the hospital and his oxygen levels were low. Hovering between 84 and 85. It’s now Tuesday January 31 and still no oxygen. Getting the run around from both Dr office and Lincare. Very upsetting. No return calls. You are left at their mercy with nowhere to turn for help"
"I always loved walking in the door here rather it be for myself or my child. The took good care of us. Now though since Donna Thacker retired and hchc took over phone calls it isn't the same. If, I haven't been seen recently hchc automatically wants me to make an appointment. I don't need to be in an environment with sick people just to get my refills. Donna use to feel the same way and would always have my back. I called weeks ago about an issue and nobody called back. I've slowly started changing us primary care physicians. Even my kids pediatrician from there is gone too. It takes months now to get an appointment."
"I have been going to Dr. Pete Hill for several years now. When I first started going he was a great doctor always listened to my concerns and make me feel comfortable. I just went for my yearly check up on a Friday and my blood pressure was high. He wouldn’t give me my medicine that day, and told me to wait for my blood results to come in. They came in on Monday but he never called me. I called them Wednesday to let them know my bp was still high. He still never returned my call. I ended up in the er because of my bp being so high. In a weeks time I called them 5 different times and left a message every time and I still have yet to hear from him. When he walked in my room to do my exam he was very arrogant and sarcastic. He showed no consideration for me nor my health, or my well being. I will never seen this man again and if you care about your life I would recommend you do the same."
