Fowler Family Medicine

"I called looking for a new Dr and was honest about my medications contract(for anxiety/CPSTD and ADHD)and was told they weren't going to accept me as a patient which is fine and after the grilling I got from "M" I knew it wasn't going to happen. Apparently you have to go through an approval process if you have contract,as my best friend who recently started seeing them did not have to go through that Which is fine I understand medication contracts are very strict a lot entailed with them I was open and honest from the start about having one. However my issue isn't with that, my issue is how "M" treated me over the phone like I was drug seeking. Asking questions which I answered but didn't bother to ask about the correct spelling of my name but wanted to know where my address(which I couldn't even finish giving before I was cutoff) is located, as if trying to catch me in a lie, and what medication I needed filled, which I said none I have appt for that next week and was looking to make change going forward. She was very short and I had a hard time getting a word in. So while the Fowler's may be amazing Dr's as they were referred by a local surgeon, the office staff is very unprofessional and automatically assume if you are on a medication contract your drug seeking. If this how your office staff is trained ,Shame on you, do better! No one should be made to feel the way I was. Totally unprofessional office staff!"
