"I attended Wright Psychological Services during my time in Staunton. The staff on hand is immensely thoughtful and easy to talk to. My biggest regret is not continuing on, although teleservice was available. I suggest this organization for all people who come across it."

"Before I get to the real problem, I will say that I appreciate the time taken to listen to my issues and problems. It’s probably hard hearing many terrible things that happen to people, and it’s probably challenging on what to say to someone. However, I will say that that’s exactly what a counseling job requires. The reason why I’m giving one star is because there was a lack of real information to help me. Instead of telling me ways to cope with anxiety or depression/social anxiety or trust issues, there was more focus on the cause of my problem and why the problem is behaving the way that it is than focusing on specifically why the problem is affecting me so badly. It was odd talking about the person who really hurt me the most and digging through their past, why they do what they do, seeing if they’re miserable and more. The sessions were all about the person who hurt me the most. This was never about them. If it were, they would’ve taken counseling too. Not to mention I never got to start sessions on time. My last session started 30 minutes late with an interruption. I didn’t even get a full hour. Overall, I was disappointed. Don’t recommend."
