Staunton Eye Clinic

"I have been going here since I was 8 and I will never return again! In the last 5 years they have seriously declined in overall performance. I have never had so much trouble communicating with any business like I have with Staunton eye. I have been back and forth for glasses and contacts. Every time my prescription gets even worse. They will only get frustrated and treat you in a demeaning way like you are the problem! The assistant even asked me “do you really need your astigmatism corrected or can we skip that?”! The doctor even stormed out of the room and told me he gave up. There is one lady in particular who is toxic to her coworkers there and creates so much tension for the customers. Sad to see my childhood eye doctor be like this but everything comes to an end. Better for this place to be shut down."

"I haven't seen an eye doctor in a very long time. This business/place brought back memories. Their examination of my eyes are going to make me see things much clearer from now on. As of this writing I haven't got my eye eye yet, but I can't wait for them to arrive in the mail."

"I will never return to this place ever! I have been back and forth with them about glasses and contacts, both pairs I can’t use bc the script or something was/is wrong. I asked the Dr to put my old script in my new glasses, he failed at that, and the girls up front, instead of telling u that your gonna owe, or have a co payment, they wait till your leaving to pop that up on u. Poor customer service, it shouldn’t take four trips into the office to get glasses right or my contacts. America’s Best is who I will definitely be using from now on. Hands down this is the worst eye place I have been to!"

"For 2 annual visits in a row I expressed concerns about my vision but was dismissed and told everything was fine. After the second time I promptly made an appointment elsewhere and expressed the same concern and it was immediately addressed. I will not be returning and instead will go somewhere that listens to their patients. I will say this was an issue with the doctor, not the staff- who were always wonderful."

"Waste of time, when made a call to set up an appointment to be seen, I asked 3 times if they accepted well care insurance I was told I believe so just bring your card and we will do something to see the doctor. So my husband and I had appointments when we get there we waited in line then when we finally got to the receptionist she tells me that they don’t accept your insurance, which they could have told me on the phone about our insurance plus there were so many people in in the place over maxed due to covid capacity rules Not good."
