When our four very scared and traumatized young foster children has just arrived on an emergency placement and needed to be seen immediately, Dr. Bouldo and the nurses and the office staff took the time to make sure that they were as comfortable as possible."

"This has been my family doctor since i was little and never have I been late to an appointment but today I was 15 minutes late and was told that the doctor couldn’t see me since i was late but it’s okay to have me sitting in a room for over a half hour ever time i go waiting on her. So I guess it’s time to find a new doctor."

"I really can’t give this place 1 star because of how I was treated by Dr. Bouldo. He spoke to me in a very degrading tone during the whole visit. It was a very traumatizing experience for me and he offered absolutely no help. He spoke to me like I was in boot camp in the military. It was the most horrible experience I have ever had with someone who claims to be a professional. Many things were said that made me feel degraded as a human being. I am 47 years old and a health care professional myself and the way he presented himself to me was absolutely deplorable. I would not under any circumstance put any of my clients through what he mentally put me through during my visit with him. I left the Carilion Clinic in absolute mental distress and I will not be returning. However, the nurses and all staff deserve 5 stars. They were the only positive experience I had while receiving services at this clinic."

"Family Medicine is a very good place to go and get you're self an exam or anything else done. And all the doctor's are great and the front and back staff is very nice and helpful too. This place make's you feel relaxed."

"**Edit** I went back to Carilion recently. It was a completely different experience. Leigh Mann was kind and concise. She listens and makes sure I understand what's going on before leaving. I've never had a bad experience with her as my provider. Thank you! For the first time, I feel like Carilion let me down. One NP... Months of progress and she tears it down in one single office visit. I've never seen her before, but it didn't really matter who I saw this past visit. It was a visit to get some paperwork signed off, and I'm told that my weight could be causing a problem that I'm not having. Asking about a heart murmur. Question: Do you experience shortness of breath after walking up stairs? Before I had the chance to answer, she said that being 5 ft and 147 lbs (fully clothed and wearing boots), my weight could be causing that. I've actually lost 20 lbs since June. I was starting to feel comfortable in my own skin again. As someone who suffered from an eating disorder, this was extremely inappropriate and unnecessary. I wouldn't have posted a review. But I didn't get the usual email about taking a survey. Carilion, I would be happy to share my experience with someone who could educate this NP on how to handle patients with mental illness."
