Reviews of Pasadena Villa Outpatient Treatment Center - Chantilly
"This program was such a huge help and has been such an eye opening experience. The therapists here are wonderful and make group therapy not so scary. 10/10 Would recommend"
"The staff are extremely supportive, caring and accommodating to individualized needs. The skills taught are beneficial to assist in any type of recovery. I would recommend Pasadena Villa to anyone who is looking for professional care and support. Thank you for making a difference in my life!"
"Before starting the PHP/IOP program at Pasadena Villas I was apprehensive and didn't know what to expect. But once I started learning about the many coping skills available and mindfulness exercises, my apprehension faded away. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Pasadena and learned a great deal. The staff, to include Dee, Brianna, Lindsey and Phillip were absolutely terrific!"
"When I started PHP, I didn't really know if I would get better. By the time I left, I was able to reach every goal I set. This place is amazing and everyone is so nice. This is my first PHP/IOP experience, but others have said it's their best experience out of the ones they have done. I don't think I'll ever need to come back based on the skills I've learned, but if I ever have to then it'll definitely be here."
"Wow, when I entered the IOP at Pasadena Villas- Outpatient in Chantilly, I had no idea what to expect, especially after being told I was one of a few patients to start this new program office. But, there was nothing to fear. The team (psychotherapists, Nicole and Bri) was absolutely wonderful, very caring, patient, and knowledgeable. They are 100% committed to your well-being. Dee, the program manager, handled all paperwork to a success and was very down to earth. The Admission Officer, Steven, was so kind and communicative. As a Black-woman-millennial, mental health was not a term my family or culture discussed growing up. All I knew in life was to keep pushing no matter the stress, pain, and trauma . . . Just strive for success, focus, be ambitious, and bury heartache. However, ignoring the "dark places" caught up to me and I hit rock bottom. I needed help beyond individual therapy and went straight to google in the midst of being in a secluded and very, very painful dark hole. I read the reviews of Pasadena Villas - McClean and decided to apply. McClean had a long waiting list and because I needed help ASAP, I took a chance on "the new office," and so happy I did. First of all, any mental health facility that plays Afrobeats and serves snacks has my vote! Nicole and Bri taught me safe coping skills, cognitive models, the importance of breathing and mindfulness, etc. My last IOP session (it was 8 weeks total) was two weeks ago and though it's bittersweet because I really miss my IOP mates, I feel I can face my issues in a more healthy way. Healing is a journey so IOP was not meant and cannot cure, but it made me "correctly see," challenge my beliefs, and not judge myself, give grace, and be less aggressive. I'm hoping that more African Americans and the African diaspora will focus on their mental health, preferably through this program. P.S. (inside story for Nicole, Bri, and my IOP mates) - I did it!!! I changed my right hand's nail color to yellow . . . "the sun is coming out and my healing is peaking through" thanks to IOP."
