"Dr. Paul B. Ramilo was not helpful, as well as dishonest with billing for my Lyme disease bloodwork/consultation. When I would talk to the office to dispute this billing claim they were very sassy and rude towards the circumstances and were not helpful. Do not recommend, steer clear and avoid physicians who don't take the time to even look at the deer tick bite, and shows up ~20 minutes late to the appointment."
"If you have Lyme disease I do not recommend you use this office for treatment. The office staff are difficult to communicate with, do not sound like they know what they're talking about, and are not very helpful. I saw Dr. Rhee and I'm sure he's a good doctor for other illnesses and he seems like a good person but I do not recommend him for Lyme patients. If you're knowledgeable about how to treat Lyme disease and just need a doctor to prescribe you antibiotics without any other help then this is a good office for you. If you are new to Lyme disease and need help navigating how to get better and heal do not use this office. They will not help you."
"I am calling them every week for my lab result. This is my third week. On oct 12 they say Dr Ramilo will review your result and you get a call. But I didn't got a call from them. Again I called them on oct 17 they say Dr Ramilo will be there on friday and he will review it. But I didn't got a call.Again I called them today Oct 23 but got automated voice saying nobody is there to receive my call. I was there as my allergist Dr want to see Infectious disease Dr and now she wants the result of lab. Tomorrow I have appointment with My allergist Dr. If any friend of mine read this review consider about your money and time"
"Not impressed with Dr. Ramilo at all! I've been having many issues, many of which are symptoms of Lyme's, RA, Lupus, etc. Iwas getting nowhere with my family doctor, but he did give me a referal. I did not get to see Dr. Soni, who had great reviews on Lyme's websites. Dr. Ramilo finallycame in the room 25 minutes late. I had been there for 30 minutes to fill out paperwork prior to the appointment. He asked what he could do, I explained my situation and that I understood the Lyme's tests are frequently not accurate. He asked if I had been tested, I told him yes, several times all negative. He asked me , "What do you want me to do?". I gave him a list of my symptoms, which he barely glanced at and told me he'd do bloodwork and refer me to a Rheumatologist if he didn't find anything and to call back on Tuesday for results. He never got within 4-5 feet of me or looked at the skin ulcers covering my legs. I called back on Tuesday and was told the MRSA was negative. I asked if he had written a referal, he had not. Never heard back from them. Called on Friday and left a message asking for the referal. Finally got it. I would certainly not reccomend Dr. Ramilo. He did not seem remotely interested in helping me at all!"
"If you have Lyme disease go to an ILAD approved medical practice. There are many treatment options out there but you won't get anything but Doxycycline here. I was on the antibiotic for a month and still felt bad, they sent me out the door - No more treatment options as far as they were concerned! Save your time and money. Anyone can prescribe an antibiotic. You need a doctor that genuinely wants to heal. There has been lots of development in Lyme treatment in the past few years, this practice seems uninterested and not willing to work with you or help. They should read Dr. Richard Horowitz's books and medical papers."
