"This place has been horrible for me. I don't recommend this place for anyone. I needed replacement parts for my machine and they refuse sending it to me until i make an appointment. Overcharged my insurance and had nervous to send me a bill for more money. Stay away."
"I cant even to begin to describe the incompetence of this place. First off - I dont leave reviews but felt this necessary for anyone else thinking of giving them a chance to AVOID AVOID AVOID I started my journey in August 2023, set the appointment for a take home sleep study. At this point, everything seemed normal except there being a week or two in-between appointments and teledoc "visits". The beginning of September (9/11) I had my teledoc "visit" with Dr.Kohli, and was confirmed I indeed was experiencing sleep apnea. She then informed me that it would be 1-2 months before I would be able to receive a CPAP machine, which I understood was a shortage issue. FOUR MONTHS LATER - after several calls that went nowhere and emails with no response, I found an online supply for CPAP machines. I PAID OUT OF POCKET for ANOTHER sleep study so I could remedy my awful sleeping condition. From start to finish was a total of 10 days from sleep study to having a CPAP machine sent to me (all out of pocket). So, here I am. 4 months deep into this and finally get the help I needed from an entirely different source. THE REASON I AM MOST UPSET - I got an email today 12/21/2023 from aeroflow which is the supplier for CSC stating I need to contact them to get my equipment...So, I called them. Aeroflow has NEVER had a supply issue! Ive been waiting for absolutely no reason. My prescription was never submitted. Commonwealth did nothing until I started to call and email everyday for my prescription (so I could order my machine). Never in my adult life have a dealt with such a horrible experience - especially dealing with my HEALTH. I am currently disputing the entire thing with my insurance company as I have been charged for "doctor visits" and charged for a CPAP machine that was never coming. Half of me wants to report them to the BBB. SO IF YOURE READING THIS AS APATIENT - GOOD LUCK! IF YOURE READING THIS FROM CSC - THANKS FOR SCREWING WITH ME FOR ALMOST HALF A YEAR."
"Asked for all medical files without hope disclosure and release warrant. MONSTER WARNINGS. Failed to notify appointment time until after the appointment time.. Huge Warning they think text sent is recieved but dont double check themselves to see if they sent appointments.. they presuppose equipment not actual sleep study specific specialists. But they can Bill HUMANA and everyone there is happy"
"I usually read the reviews before trying any place, but seeing as this place was referred to me by my doctor, I naively trusted in them. Scheduling my initial visit was no problem by phone (this was in the beginning of March). I get there, and they’re having trouble setting up my take home kit. That should’ve been the first red flag, but the optimist in me just took that as them having an off day. I do the test at home and return it the next day no problem. A doctor does a follow up call with me to go over my results and tells me that the machines are on back order, but someone will contact me back on more details. No one ever follows up on that. I reached out by e-mail a week ago and nothing. I plan on calling them tomorrow, but I have a feeling I know how things are going to go after reading a few of the reviews on here. Chances are, no order was put in and they were only interested in making that initial money off of me. I’m upset that a facility like this would play around with people’s health like this just to make some quick money."
"I had a sleep study done in mid-March, and was told I needed a CPAP machine, but there was a shortage so it would be 6-8 weeks before I would receive one. I called Commonwealth after 9 weeks to see what the status was, only to be told that Dr. Rajesh’s office had not put in the authorization or request for my machine. We had since moved, but still in the coverage area. I was assured it would be taken care of and I would be bumped to the top of the list since I had already waited so long. I waited about 2 more weeks after not hearing anything, then called Commonwealth again. This time I was told nothing had been put in or submitted yet, and because we had moved, I needed to find another medical supply distributor to get my CPAP and equipment as Commonwealth could no longer help me. I called my insurance company right after, and was told that information was incorrect, and as of that day, not a single request or authorization had been submitted by Commonwealth for my machine. In addition to that, I was told my current sleep study would expire on Aug 10, and if this was not resolved by Commonwealth/Beauregard Medical Center, that I would need to start the process all over again. Once again, I made a phone call (this afternoon) this time to Beauregard Medical to see if Dr. Rajesh could submit the paperwork, and this time I was told that Commonwealth needed to submit the paperwork, and not their office. The receptionist said she would make a note for them to have someone call me back. I don’t have any confidence at all that there will be any follow through, and once again I will be passed over and ignored. I didn’t have a choice of where to have my sleep study done for insurance purposes, and seeing the reviews for Commonwealth Sleep beforehand didn’t give me much hope in solving my sleep issues. I had a bad feeling about this entire process that was solidified when they hooked me up to a CPAP the night of my study and it smelled of mildew. Everything with this sleep center has been sub standard since, and I highly doubt the issue will be resolved before my current test expires. ALL I WANT AND NEED IS FOR THE AUTHORIZATION FOR A CPAP MACHINE TO BE SUBMITTED TO TRICARE, so I can get what I need from a local supplier. I really don’t think that is asking too much. I will update this review when the problem gets resolved, or my test expires and I have to start the long process over again next month."
