With over 30 years of experience serving Prince William County and the Manassas area, we expanded in 2010 to include a second office in the Gainesville/Haymarket area for better accessibility to patients in western Prince William County, Fauquier County, and Loudoun County.
At Crestwood Pediatric Associates, we prioritize the well-being and safety of our patients. Our office policy follows the vaccination guidelines set by the American Academy of Pediatrics and Centers for Disease Control. We utilize Electronic Health Records (EHR) and E-Prescribing to ensure efficient and accurate medical care. Additionally, we are HIPAA Compliant and adhere to strict privacy practices.
To better serve our patients, we offer after-hours tele-health appointments with a pediatrician through our partnership with Hello Pediatrics. Our appointment calendar is currently open through September, so be sure to schedule your school/sports physical soon. We kindly ask patients to arrive 5 to 10 minutes early to appointments to ensure timely care. "Absolutely horrible treatment after our second visit. Our baby had a wellness check, and we were new patients after hearing such great things. As soon as we entered we were questioned about insurance instead of being greeted. The woman who made the whole experience terrible was a very older lady who seemed to be annoyed at being there because she was so unpleasant.I believe her name was Dana Fries, looking at the “document” she typed up about our visit to give to our insurance company. I called over a month ago and made sure after speaking with Sheree that our insurance would be accepted. She assured me that everything was good to go and I made my daughter’s appointment. After our appointment today, we were harassed by this older lady who came in the appointment room to complain about the call she had with our insurance company. I offered to call them as I saw how frustrated she was, but also wanted to be attentive to my 3 month old. I tried to explain to her that we ARE covered but she refused to understand there is a 30 day grace period which was OUR fault. She flat out said we were not covered and charged us $90. She didn’t acknowledge us so we left after paying. I immediately called my insurance company and they told me what happened was completely out of line, and that they should not have taken advantage or treated us that way. As a new mom, trust is so important with our baby and this was definitely not professional or even necessary on their end. We switched insurance from Kaiser to give them a try, and it’s safe to say we will never be back."

"Horrible office with very unprofessional receptionist. I made a same-day appointment for my son… i called in to double check and was told my insurance had termed. I wanted to make sure this practice was within my network and call my insurance. I told the lady i’d call to make sure with my inshtance and then i’ll reschedule. She said sure and i call in today to schedule an appt to find out i have a charge of 50 dollars? Is this how this office operates? I have the right to find out if you’re within network.. especially if my insurance has termed with you guys.. and i still get charged. The front desk lady named “Janaki” is very unprofessional. She laughed and said you signed the papers and it’s the policy. How does an office charge you especially when you’re trying to confirm if they’re in network or not? So upset at Janaki laughing at suck matters. Very unprofessional on her part"
"Horrible! Surprisingly disappointing! My son has been a patient with Crestwood Pediatrics since before he was born. Dr. Abbott has always been his pediatrician. For weeks I have been trying to get in for his senior year shots. I finally got one for today at 4:15. I jumped at it as my son is leaving soon for a trip to Morocco to see his ailing grandmother on his father side. Unfortunately, today 66 traffic was not on my side. I called the office at 3:50 to say I may be a little later then 4:15 due to bad traffic. However, my son really needs this appointment to register for his senior year with Kettle Run. I was put on hold and when she returned she said no you need to be here by 4:15 and I said okay I will try if not I will try and reschedule. I made it there by 4:30 and understood they couldn’t see us; even though they don’t close til 5 and it was empty. I said can I make an appointment for Saturday? She said I have a 8:45 a.m. on Saturday and I jumped at that! As I’m off Saturday and there would be no traffic. When I first made the appointment Saturday was not offered to me. Then she said but before I can make the appointment I have to charge you a $50 dollar missed appointment fee! I was like what? Why? How come no one told me that when I said I would be late or when I made the appointment. They were looking down on me as soon as I walked in and customer service was not their strong point. They woman who appeared to be the front desk Supervisor was rude and offered no solution or reprise. I was just so upset that after 17 years of being my pediatricians of choice that my son and I were treated like we were bums begging for free service. Extremely disappointed! Where is the good old Manassas staff? Because those ladies in Haymarket need another classes on customer service, and empathy. I feel scandalized for them; this is not how Dr. Abbott ever ran things. Shocked and disappointed!"
"Insensitive practice and horrible front desk attendant. My daughter fell at the school playground and tore her lip and chipped her tooth. We are regulars at Crestwood Pediatrics. This office is less than half a mile from school so I took my daughter (3yoe) who was in shock and profusely bleeding. First, the attendant present ignored as much as she could. Multiple times, I asked her to check with the doctor, she ignored and didn't reply. I asked for ice and she wouldn't even look at us. Insensitive and bad culture of patient "care" at this office. Thankfully, there was another front desk attendant who helped us a little and got us seated. I stayed calm throughout and tried to work through the situation. After 15-20 minutes of waiting in agonizing pain, we were denied treatment. Even in third world countries would kids in such state get at least 10 minutes with a Doctor. I mentioned how we badly needed to see a doctor and I was already there. They insistent that, I leave. I was patiently and quietly waiting but then with a bleeding child, I left. At the very least. It lacks care and human sensitivity. No one should take their children to this "business"."
