"I have used TaxSlayer and been a customer for 15 + years. For my use and my tax filing status its super easy. My only issue is the cost of service is too much money for my simple tax W2 form inputting service needs. I only wish TaxSlayer corporate would seriously reduce the cost and provide a serious discount for loyal customers. On 4/23/23 I just found out TaxSlayer is a Georgia based company (in the past I did not pay attention ) so I'm happy to support them since I currently live in Georgia. 4/5 star due to service price. Overall ok experience."

"Did business with them for my simple 2021 Taxes. I have finally been able to work with the IRS to locate my refund. As a side note, expected amount and amount rcvd was less over $100 dollars than it should have been. Resolved 4/16/2. No help from TaxSlayer whatsoever."

"website is NOT clear and uses vague language to trick you into paying extra fees and using their 3rd party service; This is recommended by the IRS, but their options on filing and paying are NOT user friendly and NOT clear. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FOR FILING YOUR TAXES. Customer support does not know what they are doing. Representative "misspoke" (their words) repeatedly about my tax return and that my account was "all over the place". file elsewhere."

"It’s a scam!!!!!! DO NOT USE!!!!! They will take you money. Reject your claim. Then say it’s in their policy that if you get rejected you don’t get your money back. I was rejected over an EIN number that was correct. IT’S A SCAM!!!!!!’ GO TO TURBO TAX. Jaime is the supervisor here and will not help you. They make stuff up to keep your money. DON’T USE THIS SERVICE!!"

"They said that they couldn't deposit my refund due to the wrong account number but, they were sent a copy of a bank statement with the account number. Simply BS! Then , when I try to give them the right number, they said they couldn't change anything and would have to send out a check...this was two months ago and still Nothing! I called today and they said that I was on a waiting list to return my refund to the IRS but, that they were backed up to February and it would take around 21 months!! I refuse to wait 4 MORE MONTHS FOR MY MONEY WHEN THEY TOOK THEIRS IMMEDIATELY!! DO NOT USE TAXSLAYER OR Santa Barbara Tax Payers Group!"
