Reviews of The Noble Academy, Inc.
"UPDATE: My daughter is now five and still at the Noble Academy. She absolutely loves going every day. That should tell you all you need to know! But just in case... My child had some behavior issues along the way and Mrs. Noble and staff were phenomenal. We met and discussed what the best approaches/responses were and made sure we were all aligned. Mrs. Noble has been a wonderful guide for me with my only child and is so kind and reassuring that "it's just a phase". (She was right!) The nurturing staff, awesome summer activities, outdoor play areas, and affordability are just added perks. Original Review - 2017 - I cannot say enough good things about The Noble Academy, Inc. located in Richmond, Virginia. We transitioned our baby girl here from a national chain daycare and have had nothing but positive experiences! They are locally owned and operated by a former Chesterfield County teacher and administrator who has implemented just the right amount of focus on curriculum, faith, and fun. The friendly environment, fantastic teachers, and safe, inviting, beautiful facility make this the perfect place. The nursery is spacious and separate from the toddlers and school-age kids. I highly recommend!"
"My nephew tried to attend this daycare and they did not want to accept him. I feel very perturbed because he is different and they could not handle him for 2 1/2 hours before school. They were very rude and unprofessional. If you can not handle all types of children you should not be in business. Don't send your children to this establishment you will be very unsatisfied."
"My nephew goes there are they are amazing the place is clean that have nice services if your late to pick them up they don’t overcharge you and Mrs noble have great teaching skill my nephew has learned to right his name and he didn’t know how at first Mrs noble teaches them bible verses he didn’t know that at first he know his colors he know how to count to 100 and he couldn’t do that at first so that tells a lot and he is only 3 so the noble academy is good sign up today"
"One of my children gets services through his mother and DSS. I paid cash for my daughter to go weekly there days. On May 24th, two brand new packages of wipes and a can of formula went missing from my daughters diaper bag. The Tuesday following Memorial Day we ask about the whereabouts- nobody has a clue where they are. On Wednesday, we were told that she needed more formula and wipes. My daughter only went two days the week of Memorial Day. It’s not possible for a newborn to run through an entire can of formula and two brand new packages of wipes in less than the 5 business days she was there. They did not try to rectify the missing items, only wanted to make a plan for new incoming items. But we gave proper notice and terminated care for our daughter in June after the teacher stated she had not been giving the formula we were bringing to our daughter, and had been giving her the wrong, daycare provided formula that was expired, and had been sitting openers on the counter since before my daughter started in February. My daughters formula canister had her name in large black letters on the light purple lid, and gave instruction on how to mix the bottle. Inside the formula canister there was chunks of formula that had gotten wet, mold around the rim, and wet dried formula in chunks on the rim as well as the top of canister. There’s no rhyme or reason why a formula canister would get or have water and mold in it nor chunks of formula if proper sanitation had been followed. The teacher and director cried over this and wanted to make it right, but we no longer trusted them with an infant who could not speak for herself as to the care she was receiving. My son was supposed to stay until the end of June. We reported on June 3rd that his last day would be the 28th of June and Mrs Noble said that was fine. She understood but stated she wanted to try to earn our trust back. Summer activities began and significant other called to inquire because my son just went from full time care to part time care- no longer going Wednesday’s or Friday’s. The summer fee was 187 and he was only going to be in care for another 2.5-3 weeks at this point. She asked if they’d prorate through the summer making the fee 20 dollars or so through each week, she was told by Mrs Noble this was fine, then told by her son William who handles the books that this was not fine. He said she needed to pay 67 for the remaining activities to pay by activity even though my son was not going to be there for 2 of the costly activities since he stopped going Wednesday’s and Friday’s. He hung up on her during the disagreement after stating he was no longer going to discuss it. My son’s Mom arrived June 17 and found that our son was wearing a shirt that did not belong to him. Upset from the phone call, she asked where his shirt was that he was wearing. Constance, the owners grand daughter said it was soaking wet - she walks over to the door and picks it up off of the FLOOR. Due to another sanitation concern, this further upset my son’s mother and she said she was going to report them to the state and that this is why she gave her notice and why his last day was to be June 28th. She said it’s disgusting and ridiculous the low standards Noble Academy has for their childcare and they went back and forth. My son’s mom realized my daughter still had formula in the other classroom in ziplock bags and some clothes and went to retrieve those items while staying she is glad she found care and couldn’t wait for June 28 to come and go and walked out. June 18, I try to drop Xavier off to go to work, and Noble Academy said that because they cannot please the family nor rectify the wrong doings in our eyes that she cannot accept my son for care. We talked for 20 minutes or more. My mom called up there just to get clarification, and she told my mother the same thing that she can not accept care for him any longer. Now they are trying to charge us for care that THEY terminated by not allowing him to stay until the date we had given. We will see them in court."
