"Hands down, the most disgusting Super 8 I've ever stayed in. 1st room reeked of stale smoke and mildew. The toilet wasn't solidly attached to the floor & didn't flush. The white chair in the corner was basically gray from filth. After asking to be moved, the 2nd room also smelled like mildew, toilet was slightly loose, AC temp screen didn't function properly, and that chair was filthy too. Made you wonder how clean the bedding is. I don’t know bc I didn't want to look at this point & we had enough blankets from home to sleep on top of the hotel's bedding. It was so humid from the AC in the room that after a few hours the clothes in our bags were actually slightly damp. You can hear everything in the hotel, so I barely slept. The staff met the bare minimum for friendly, checked us in & moved our room when asked, but didn't volunteer any info about breakfast, wifi, etc. If it weren't for all other hotels being sold out due to the WV fair & our stay only being for 1 night, I gladly would have paid more to go elsewhere. I see now why this one had availability. I love a good budget hotel but save yourself, this one is not it."

"Our first room smelled like straigh mill dew and urine couldn’t even stand it! They moved us to another room just to find out that room was disgustingly dirty. We found a bug, and even the sheets were dirty"

"JUST A REVIEW-What can I say you pretty much get what you pay for if you’re a custom to a little bit of luxury, this hotel might not be for you and the rooms are simple. The breakfasts id simple. You don’t have a large variety of choices (like other hotels )they provide muffins ,yogurt, orange juice in bottles, ice, vending machines, hot coffee two slices of bread packaged with jam,butter etc. there are NO LAUNDRY ROOM available so you pretty much taking back all your dirty clothes in your luggage t(if you’re on a 2 to 3 day stay) at night the super8 road sign is not lit so you’ll need to use buildings Or whatever else to mark off where you need to turn uphill into the parking lot (if you’re not familiar with the area) now with the rooms like the door knobs, the bathroom area some things are loose and unrepaired (yikes ) and finally not all the beautiful pictures posted on Google of the inside rooms are truthful the staff ;I believe they do the best they can and I will give them credit for it . Personally, I will not stay there again maybe because I’m accustomed to more variety in offerings so to speak. This was a last minute decision booking."

"The rooms are what you would expect from a motel. HOWEVER, I have never had such wonderful concierge service at any hotel I’ve ever stayed at (5 star hotels included). The folks at the front desk went above and beyond to be friendly, offer directions and recommendations- even going so far as to run out to the parking lot to make sure we knew about another patio option they forgot to originally mention. They made traveling with a toddler and a dog a breeze with their helpful tips for exploring Lewisburg. Also, they made me feel safe as a queer person in the south. I cannot express how wonderful these humans were."
