Corduroy Inn and Lodge

"Two night stay midweek with family. We were in a 1BR King in the Inn property. Overall the experience was positive, but there are a few things that I found odd about the property. First, let me say that the room was comfortable and in good condition. Also, there were plenty of nice plush towels and wash cloths available. The Nespresso machine was a nice touch as was the in room fireplace. Heated floors in the bathroom were wonderful! Location of the Inn is fantastic - get off Powder Monkey and literally ski to the walkway leading to our first floor room. The thing I found odd, in the midst of a lot of good and nice stuff, was that the bathroom layout is just unacceptable! There is a TINY sink and counter area. Barely large enough to lay a single toothbrush or hair brush on. There is a small shelf and basket below the sink, but that's it! Towels are on a shelf, but if you want to use that one, then your towels are going to go onto the floor. There is a TON of open space in the bathroom. At minimum, they need to install 3'-4' of counter space, or perhaps a set of shelves. Lots of room to do it, so I cannot figure out why in such a large bathroom there is so little space. It's not even enough for 1 person, much less the 3 people that we had in the room! I'd stay here again, but for the price, I really expect a bit more in the bathroom. It's like there was a project to do a nice bath, and after they did the heated floors and towel rack, they ran out of $$! It's an easy fix (relatively) and the review goes from 'good' to 'great'!"

"Great room, a bit small, but clean with nice amenities (heated bathroom floor, heated towel rack, gas fireplace) but only a queen bed. Free breakfast was good. Only complaint was the price. I think the final cost, with all the added fees and taxes, was overpriced."

"I have a reservation for this weekend that was made in November 2023. As fate would have it, my son got the flu three days before departure. I called to get a refund and was told no, per cancellation policy! I asked what my options were and was told to forfeit $1700 or bring my son (7yr old) with the flu anyways!!! I even asked if I could just rebook for next year and again told,no!!! $1700 is a lot of money and I cannot just throw it away. The management here is uncompromising and insensitive to a sick child and the guest who we will be around. So now I’m going to have to unfortunately drag my sick child with the Flu to the Corduroy Inn and Resort. I will never book here again."

"Rooms are very spacious and accommodating. Location is great, since it's right at the village and it has its own parking garage. They also include a breakfast buffet during winter season and they have three restaurants on site to cover all food tastes."

"We just spent 4 days at the Corduroy Inn & Lodge for our daughter’s wedding. We had a fabulous time and cannot speak more highly of the Corduroy staff and the amenities! Our family stayed at the Corduroy House, which sleeps 17, and is a few minutes drive from the main property. The house is clean, updated, and spacious. The kitchen is well-appointed and stocked for large gatherings. The beds are very comfortable and the 5 bedrooms are roomy. There are 4 bathrooms that easily accommodated all of us. The pool table and hot tub are nice bonuses! Last but not least, the panoramic view is stunning from the wrap around porch. We also stayed at the lodge the nights surrounding the wedding. The rooms are modern, yet reflect a unique Snowshoe ambiance. The heated bathroom floors and fire place are lovely amenities to have after being in the snow. Though I can’t speak to the details of the wedding planning process (our daughter will), all I know is that she is 1000% happy with the results. The day of the wedding, Jim Ed & Monica took care of everything, so much so that the bride and groom were so relaxed and were able to enjoy the momentous day! The guests raved about the high quality of the food + presentation, not usually expected at a wedding reception. —Monica baked the cookies and wedding cake for the reception and they were phenomenal! —The wedding reception dinner prepared by Chef Scott was also top notch! We experienced some hiccups, due to Mother Nature and physics. We arrived during a snowstorm and had some difficulty with our vehicles. The Corduroy team went above and beyond to come to our rescue and treated us like family friends. We have no complaints with our experience at the Corduroy Inn & Lodge. Jim Ed and the Corduroy team set the standard and exceeded all of our expectations. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"
