"Roland Park Location. I was upset with the billing. We were going to cancel our membership after 7 months of tutoring (it's expensive). But we were told we could "pause" the membership instead and freeze our rate and could cancel anytime during the two-month pause. What we were not told is that we had to cancel by Sept 20 of the second month (the resume date was Oct 1). Our center manager said "it was in the membership contract." We missed the first week of tutoring because we didn't know membership had resumed. I felt duped and had to pay $618 for an additional month (and we missed the first week of tutoring because we didn't know membership had resumed). Bad experience. Would not do it again."

"My daughter used to dread anything related to math. She was falling further and further behind and visibly frustrated in school. We stopped by Mathnasium in Centreville and she took an assessment. She was about two years behind normal 5th grade math, and being in AAP math three years behind. They came up with a plan to gain her confidence back. Update 7/24/2020: My daughter is at grade level and is on track to be ahead of grade level for next year. The online lessons during the school closures have kept her focused and motivated. The center director Kenny is hard working and takes time to personally reach out and get feedback to improve. The instructors/coaches are really great at being patient and finding creative ways of connecting with students until they are able to master the various math concepts."
