"I had high hopes that this place would be the diamond in the rough that most reviews say it is. Unfortunately it isn't. Keep in mind that the price is dirt cheap so you're definitely getting what you pay for. With that said, I would have rather just paid more to stay elsewhere. The room isn't obviously dirty, but if the light in my hit the wood panel walls just right I could see a good bit of grime on them. I definitely wore my shoes while walking around the room. There was no cover on the box spring under the mattress which can't be sanitary. Even while the bed was still made up, the top sheet hung down on the sides and definitely made contact with the bare box spring. Yuck! I was expecting extremely outdated decor so that honestly didn't bother me and as I said, you get what you pay for. On the plus side, the woman who owns the place was very friendly and the bathroom was surprisingly very clean and not as outdated as I would have expected."

"This place is awesome. It's located on Route 11 just minutes from Woodstock, VA (8 minutes if I'm not mistaken). The price for a room with 2 beds wasn't but $53 and change. The room is large and clean and the sheets were clean. I wish we would have known about this place sooner because it just feels like home."

"Really nice people run this place. Real Americans!! Super clean and cozy. One review says it is just like going to grandma's house. That is just how it feels. Quiet and simple. Smells like mammaw's apple pie. I am from Mississippi but if I ever come to Strasbourg again this is where I will stay. Not a fancy place but I give it five stars. Very private and friendly."
