Reviews of CHI Saint Joseph Health - Saint Joseph London
"My mother took a fall in her home and I called the ambulance. She has 4 broken ribs and 2 bones broken in her back she's 81 years old so she is very fragile. Every time I go visit with her her room is a mess garbage on the floor things like books and stuff to entertain her are either on the floor or moved where she can't reach them. They bring her food and set it down while she can't sit up so if I'm not there to feed her she doesn't eat. She's supposed to be moving to a nursing home for rehabilitation, they call me about 10:15 and tell me she's not eligible for the ambulance to take her but yesterday she had been approved for the ambulance. They were getting her dressed and ready to go. I get there They haven't done anything and now it's been almost 2 hours. I'm very disgusted with everything at this point. The nurses act like they are going out of their way to do their job. The cost of everything now the patient should be treated like royalty not like they don't exist. If I can help it I will never use this lazy and unprofessional hospital again."
"Super clean, super friendly staff, great care and compassion from staff. They were always concerned about my safety. I was in the hospital for 9 days and was taken care of very well. I will always come back if needed. Thank you London Hospital for the great care I received."
"The first time I came to this hospital, it was a good experience. This last time was at the other end of the "good" spectrum. If you do have to go to the ER, make sure you dress nice. I'm epileptic and was brought in by ambulance. I was wearing sweat pants and was asked if I was taking non-prescribed meds. They were checking my arms and asked me to remove my shoes and socks. They were checking me for "tracks." I'd never been so aggravated. The doctor AND nurse both asked if I was having withdrawals. This is what I'm talking about: if you do have a choice to go to another hospital, dress nice or TAKE THE OTHER CHOICE!"
"The person who did the X-Ray was very kind and seemed very knowledgeable. Getting checked in was a nightmare it took 4 people to figure out how to get me check in. I went in and my last name had changed as well as my insurance since I was there over 4 years ago. Well…they really struggled to figure out how to get thing information off my card and into the system. I’ve had this same insurance for over 3 years and never had any issues or problems. After about 40 minutes they had to go get someone from the back to come up and help she came up and had everything in the system in less than 2 minutes. After that was all figured out I had almost no wait time to get my X-Rays done. The lady that did them was very nice. And the people in the front were nice and wanted to help they where just not trained well. I also want to note getting my last name changed was very easy it was just putting in the card that no one know how to do. It was just a basic military dependent insurance card."
"Brought my wife here for test. First time here. Registration lady was very nice to us. Only complaint so far is the wait. 2:30 appointment time, 3:00 still waiting. I enjoyed viewing the wall of history, see attached pictures."
