"I absolutely can not stand this place. At this point I will sit at home and suffer rather than go here and feel like torture. They act as if they don’t care. Constantly on their phones ignoring the patients. Secluding them. It should not take over a hour to see someone. I understand if your er is full. But if there is only 3 people in there. Taking over a hour to check in is absolutely ridiculous. If you need medical attention go to pineville or Middlesbrough. By the time you get there you won’t even have been see at Harlan. Absolutely disgusting."
"Various people in psychiatric facility are not advocates of the patients. Dr. Raza calls other providers names if they aren’t afilliated with comp care. “Quacks” to be exact. He degrades women. He forces discharge patients to go to comp care because they give him referrals. Kim Ball refuses to give out discharge paperwork as the discharge nurse. Good luck talking to the director Craig, he won’t return phone calls either."
"I'm in the er still sitting here after 8 hours haven't ate at all they fed everyone else for forgot me the nurses were rude never checked on me wouldn't help me with pain unless they talked to my pharmacy so I called my pharmacy and went to hand them the phone she said oh we got that info she's working on never got no meds"
"I'm giving one star because I can't give zero. First of all, the bedside manner is very unprofessional, and the care given isn't much better. The surgeon wasn't able to answer simple questions about surgery and the actions taken during. Also wasn't able to answer basic questions about possible reactions. My best friends Mamaw, was admitted earlier this week due to infection from the surgery she had there, and no medical professional there was able to answer any questions they had and wasn't allowing any kind of visitors the first couple of days. Please just make the extra drive and go somewhere else to get better care for you and your loved ones."
"My dad James T Bowers, sadly didn't make it out after 3.5 long weeks here where they did every possible treatment in a battle with covid round 2 that he just couldn't beat. The surgeons spoke to me at every important turn and thoroughly explained his condition and the options with pros cons etc so I was informed before making them. I support every Dr and covid care nurse here. My dad was cared for and the empathy was real and comforting in the end. They let me call his pastor and wife down to be with him before he met God. They are the real deal and im grateful to them all. Please get vaccinated."
