"I would give no stars if possible. Took my wife there when she had a mental breakdown. She suffers from psychosis, schizophrenia, anxiety, bipolar, Alzheimer’s, dementia just to name a few and was suicidal. She didn’t know who my son and I were at all and had reverted back to her childhood (which was extremely traumatic). They released her in that condition no questions asked. She also had open wounds on her arms and they never addressed them in any way, just left them open and uncovered. Thankfully Kings Daughters saw her condition and put her on a hold until they could find a facility that could help her special needs. I would not take my dog or even a stray dog to this hospital after this. She could have died in her condition and they didn’t even care. If you love your family avoid taking them to this hospital if you want to get them any form of help. Drive further to get help from a caring hospital instead."
"Went in for a uti, they put me in the psychological "help" part of the hospital. They bagged my clothes, my phone, my money, everything. I couldn't contact my family to tell them how it was going. I finally got the ok to leave...with a therapy appointment, but no uti medication."
"I would give less stars if possible. I wouldn't take my dog to this facility. Their lack of care and concern for the patient and patients family is unacceptable. They are neglectful and verbally abusive to the patient. They are disrespectful to concerned family members. No one in their emergency department should be working in healthcare."
"Had person sent by Dr to get iv in emergency room. Was kept 3 hours before giving up and going home. Nurses say it is staffing, care was ok but unacceptable waits. Two days ago same person was kept 12 hours in emergency room , again they said same thing , no staffing for rooms , whole wings shut down . Go to Lexington"
"Well the staff are pleasantly nice and caring.... Management is the problem.. Where to begin no beds in the ER because two floors are shut down and they have no where to put them. People that need to be admitted need a room so ER patients can have a bed. Why are the floors shut down? Why are people who need a bed stuck in ER? Why do we have to go into a little room for X-ray and sit in a chair when the patient can't breathe? I'll tell you what poor management, plain and simple. Two and a half hours of sitting in the waiting room. Poor management plain and simple. Yet they told our city officials that they are well equipped to handle the health care needs for our people.. PLEASE!!!"
