"Very kind and did wonderful surgery on me! I could not have been any happier . One thing stands out was the noise out in the nurses room at night. Deborah Owen."
"If I could give less than one star I would! You all should be ashamed. My mom went in for chemo and before they started they run labs. When my mother asked the nurse if her labs were okay, the nurse looked her in the eye and LIED TO HER!!! They gave her the chemo treatment. When my parents were leaving the doctor came running after them to say the labs were off and if my mom started falling etc to come back to the hospital. My mom WAS BLEEDING INTERNALLY!!!! Yet they still never caught it or told us anything!! They said her muscles were weak from no use!?! IDIOTS. They sent my mom to a “rehab” center and she was treated as if she was lazy it wasn’t until her BP dropped that she was taken to the Emergency Room where they correctly diagnosed her!!! She died August 22, 2022. What a joke this whole experience was! We even asked for an advocate never got a call back! Is this how Dr Bellar wants Emily’s name remembered???? Oh by the way my mother also worked for you Dr Bellar! Her name was Linda Quast LINDA QUAST LINDA QUAST LINDA QUAST LINDA QUAST Do yourself a favor and go to a Fairfax and stay the hell away from this place!!! Even on her death bed my mother could hear everything and the damn doctor is talking about just keeping her comfortable until she passes. How do I know she heard it? Because tears streamed down her cheeks. I live with this image every damn day."
"I feel safe confident with all the Dr and nurses with their knowledge of knowing and how care for me. here at cancer center. Actually I really like my Dr n nurses n I get on mychart they respond next day. Some times same day"
"I met a poor guy in a wheelchair three years prior to now and he shared that UVA doctors requested if he had any money in his pockets. They tried to gain a debt in this crooked way. They attempted to physically shake a disabled person down and I'll advise this wherever I am. No-one is advocating for disabled and they chain plenty of money from their Couric cancer center enough to try to treat non affiliates like some joke. Those doctors are mentally ill and ought to be be investigated to the most fullest extent of the law. Do your best to go to another state for your care if you have not got Medicaid or Medicare. These staff are not for high maintenance care."
"My wife has been a patient since December and we've spent five 4-night weekends at the Ritz-Chemo on 3 South. The prices are what you'd expect at a 5 star resort. The service and staff are amazing, but the food is disappointing for a resort of this caliber, and the "spa treatments" while life saving, are frankly toxic. You'll feel worse when you leave than when you arrived, but with luck you'll also live longer for the experience."
